The food at this place was absolutely disgusting. The fish was straight out of cardboard box and fried. Batter was really oily and soggy and the fish was like mush. Minimal dry salad and about 6 chips on my plate. I will never eat here again.

If could give a 3.5 I would. The food itself was average, nothing wrong with it but wasn’t blown away. Waited around an hour for food. Quite expensive as well. The bar itself is pretty good, looks nice and alcohol isn’t overly expensive. I’m sure it’s had its good and bad nights, just when I went it was a bad night.

Amazing customer service and an awesome atmosphere! Matt and Steph who served us are a credit to the business. Definitely recommend. The live music made a great night even better!

They went out of their way to make sure we had a good experience. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We shared chicken wings and halloumi to start and the I had barramundi and my husband had a porterhouse steak. All cooked well. The salads were fresh. We will definitely go back.

Great fish and chips, one of best, friendly bar counter staff and nice old building! Good selection of beers not the usual big brands.Somewhat pricey but still no regrets going there.

Booked for Mother's day a month in advance. When we got to the booking we were ushered out to a back room with wooden bar stools instead of proper chairs and advised that was all they had. You would think a prior booking would entitle us to a proper sit down meal in the restaurant rather than having to perch in their back rooms but I guess not. Won't be back.

Absolutely beautiful meal, staff are fantastic, greeted at the door and served straight away. $25 steak night was a winner. Well done to the new owners, new and old staff and great job to the new head chef. Will definitely return.

We loved celebrating our wedding at Freight Bar. Tayla and Charmaine did everything and more to make sure the venue was exactly what we wanted. A fantastic venue for any celebration!
