Wegner Therapies

Saw this woman due to multiple losses. Instead of staying in the moment with me, she went off on a hypothetical scenario. Instead of her listening to me, I ended up listening to her rabbiting over and over this tangent. Instead of helping me develop strategies to deal with my current emotional state, she kept going back to this hypothetical scenario, which was not at all helpful. Broke every rule of counselling: client centred, staying in the moment with the person, don’t redirect to something irrelevant to the client. She had no idea what what that was, as she didn’t listen. No empathy present. Can’t recommend.

I don't recommend this place.. my doctor sent through a referral an I was to ring an see if they have received it,I did ring an got the actual owner karina wegner who I was told to see,She was very arrogant and with a condescending tone telling me she's not a secretary so she won't check her computer to see if she recieved it an was then told she's booked out an ull need to find someone else,I have agoraphobia an was difficult to make the call in the first place,her job is to help people an with the way I was spoken too, I feel she has made things worse an i didn't even get to see her ,very unprofessional an very off putting.........this is a reply to your answer as i couldnt reply to it........., I'll start by saying when you say secondly to make a point ,that is condescending, I know what agoraphobia is,it also is a anxiety disorder that usually stems from another,I have anxiety an difficulty talking on phones., is what I ment by it,if you where professional an got my referral up ,you would of known that,I was advised by my Dr that I had to ring to see if you guys have received it as the last one didn't come through,if karina is not a secretary an was rude by saying it by the way,why did she answer the phone an make me feel like a burden by doing so.it was un called for an why I have said very unprofessional an off putting,karina could of went about it in a different manner an you would have a better review ,I understand you are full till January but the rest of the conversation was un called for

Karina and Don are so nice and friendly, karina is great at her job and I highly reccomened going here if you need counselling :)
