Lukoumades - The Greek Donut

Twice we visited during our holiday and both times the staff seemed to have an attitude problem. If they actually acknowledge you, it's with a cranky face and talking to you like they'd rather be anywhere else and you'rethe scum of the earth, not a paying customer. Couldn't believe how rude they were! Greeks are famous for their beautiful hospitality, shame there is none of that at this store. Nice enough donuts but will go next door to the amazing ice cream shop next time.

Sorry but had to give 1 star after the bad service I received, yes you were polite about it, but telling me that I can't eat in because of a 4 person covid restriction limit which is clearly on your door when the were clearly more than 4 people sitting inside, PLUS the people waiting in line to be served!! Really poor attitude especially when the government has put restrictions in place but you clearly cannot follow or enforce.

We went last night to the Henley Beach store. The girls who were working don’t seem to get along, one was exceptionally rude and constantly making faces behind the other workers backs and rolling her eyes. We waited around 15 minutes (and it wasn’t particularly busy) and received our order: 1x Original Greek (Honey and Cinnamon). We left to eat them on the grass but they were completely raw and gluey inside (they also tasted watery and weren’t even crunchy on the outside), my partner and I couldn’t eat them and the customer service was so poor/ the atmosphere was so uncomfortable we didn’t feel comfortable enough to return them. We had to throw them away which we felt awful about because of the wastage and the cost $12.90. I definitely wouldn’t recommend and we unfortunately won’t be back because these were the worst lukoumades we have ever had :(

Sooooo delicious dessert, soft, hot, and tasty. They also sell coffee which is perfect pair flr the dessert in a cold weather. It was not busy when we came so we were able to get table and chairs for us 6 people. Since they are not a restaurant for proper dining they do not have big space, they do not have toilet for customer.

We tried the original and the nutella donuts and they tasted so good! They were very warm and were a blessing on a cold night out. I would definitely come back here to try something else too.Do note that there isn't alot of tables as it's a restaurant designed for take away mostly and there isn't a customer bathroom either.

We enjoy coming here for dessert. Lots of variety, but we’re yet to try the donut fries or thick shake but we will do one day I’m sure! I always go for the Nutella dream, and my husband the original honey & cinnamon. The girls on 16th May 2023 were very polite and they cooked the donuts to ensure they weren’t gooey inside. Very delicious. We dined in but there definitely needs to be some better ventilation in the shop. It’s very Smokey and the strong smell of the frier overpowers the atmosphere. Otherwise, it would be a 5 star rating from us. $12.9 for the all time classics and it’s so worth it! Generous portions too. You could almost share a serve… if you wanted to.@kirbystaltari

Been to the henelybeach store couple times now cappuccino taste like water no sugarLoukoumades were burnt 8 customers complained and walked out to many young staff that don't have the passion to serve Greek desserts or make a decent cappuccinoBe trying the Hyde park store hope there better will be a review for them soon to

Terrible experience, asked for a fondue and told they had no fresh fruit asked for the fruit to be replaced with icecream and told no we aren't doing fondues at all and cant do deep fried oreos as well. Then asked for a baby cino and told the frother on the machine was broken. Wasn't offered any alternatives and felt like an inconvenience rather than a customer. It's a shame cause this place used to be good.

Donut is tasty, very special flavour. It taste like fried mochi with chocolate & honey sauces, a bit too sweet but still nice.

This place serves what it promises to serve! Delicious dough balls with a variety of flavours!But I cannot get over the burnt oil smell and deep-fryer-oil infused air inside the shop.
