I went from building my career from a casual bartender,to managing 2 hotels (live in) single handedly over a 20 year period,until life fell apart...I was completely broken.Then I was linked up with Sarina Russo,and was given Carol Allen as my case worker-I believe just in time!I will forever be grateful of Carol's help,understanding,and compassion,and constant assurance of hope.Given what I had been going through,Carol has been there 100% of the way!,She took me under her wing,and helped me find my self worth again.There's never been any judgement, stereotyping,just a very helpful,warm and encompassing place to be.I don't believe i have ever heard anyone looking forward to their Job provider network appointments - Until now!Sometimes you just need that boost in life,these guys definitely didn't miss the memo on that one.If i had my own coffee cup there-I wouldn't leave! :)What a fabulous,fabulous team...I cannot express my gratitude enough!Thanks Carol,What a mammoth difference you have made in my world this past year.Thankyou for constantly believing in me..even when I didn't.You gave me my confidence,and my life back!And got me back in to the work force after a near 3 year hiatus...I START MY NEW JOB-AND LIFE TODAY!I honestly cannot adequately describe the level of service and care this particular office has clearly worked so hard to achieve.It's not just me,that was lucky enough to have experienced this-I see the obvious rapport between others,and their caseworkers within that office.When I first starting going there,I would peek my head in the door eyes brimming with tears and a broken spirit,get Carol's attention and she would whisk me into a private room,box of tissues at the ready and a warm smilebefore i turned and ran,or just dropped to the floor crippled with anxiety...No questions asked.Now,I walk in with confidence in my heart and a new drive in my soul.Thankyou just seems so inadequate.Cannot wait for my future.Shannon Jackson.

Coming to Sarina Russo Job Access after being directed to them by Centrelink I was sceptic of how these people would make any difference in my experience meeting new people and professionals. To my delight, after being guided back to a calm place after a close to panic attack for being in new surroundings with strangers, the staff were so supportive, Carol especially helping me breathe back my senses and I felt safe, my state of issue was taken seriously rather than brushed off in a manner that motivates you to get up and going, striving for change. All you need to give back is the tasks done and information they need and you're good to go, finding those key elements to help you find and obtain that job you've wanted and needed!I definitely recommend people to come here if you are nervous around people and struggle finding a job, needing a safe space to explore your options and support.Thanks to the team at Strathpine for all the support!

Review summary:- The Sarina Russo Job Access Strathpine office environment is extremely crowded, noisy and uncomfortable.- My case manager was inexperienced and couldn’t answer many of my questions (this wasn’t her fault – she needed more support from senior staff).- Most of my meetings were conducted over the phone rather than face-to-face which made me feel disconnected and unsupported.- They seemed more focused on herding me through the system rather than focusing on my individual needs and actually helping me find employment.- I have since changed to Matchworks Strathpine and so far they seem to be much better.Detailed review:When I requested to go on a Jobseeker allowance in January I was unfamiliar with any of the job service providers so Centrelink recommended I sign up with Sarina Russo Job Access. I was only with them for 8 weeks before requesting a transfer to another employment agency because I was extremely unimpressed with the service that Sarina Russo Job Access provided.When I first walked in to their Strathpine office, there was no obvious reception area nor anyone to provide a greeting or assistance. Their office is an open plan design, so when you walk in, it’s just a room full of people. I expected that meetings would be conducted in private rooms, but they weren’t. I found it extremely distracting and disconcerting to be surrounded by staff talking to customers and on phones with the radio blaring in the background while I was trying to seek advice about finding employment.My case manager was a lovely lady, however, she often couldn’t answer my questions. She said she hadn’t been working there very long and it seemed to me that there was no one there to support her learning process. I was looking for advice in regards to how to write excellent applications and present myself well at interviews but this support was never offered to me. They barely glanced at my resume and didn’t provide any feedback. Most of my meetings were conducted over the phone rather than face-to-face, which might be suitable for some people, but it made me feel very disconnected and unsupported.I was looking for an employment agency that could help me gain employment, but Sarina Russo Job Access seemed more focused on herding me through the system without focusing on my individual needs and concerns.I have since changed to Matchworks Strathpine and so far they seem to be much more supportive and helpful. Meetings are conducted face-to-face in private offices and they provided feedback on my resume during my first meeting.

Absolutely amazing group of people, the place has a very family feel to it and has such a positive atmosphere.Carol is my employment consultant and I probably have never met another person that cares more about her job seekers, she has taken a real understanding to my situation and been extremely compassionate and caring. I feel very lucky to have been put with her.And the Job Placement Officer Jeff is probably the most helpful person towards anybody, I haven't always shown much motivation or initiative but he seems to have faith in me, and it seems to me that he isn't even at a job, he seems to love helping people even when they have let him down before.I have been seeing the psychologist Kerian because Carol could see how I was struggling.\Keiran can really help if you want it. She has given me real advice that has actually changed things in my everyday life, and I've only had a few sessions with her. and probably the nicest person I have ever met.Just from those 3 people alone makes Strathpine Sarina Russo the best place you could go if you actually want a positive change in your life.I would be happy to say a million more things. I just hope other people who are struggling manage to find a Job Agency like this one.

I have been dealing with Sarina Russo - Strathpine for 6 months and have always found the staff amazingly helpful. The team referred me to the CTA program, which was incredibly helpful at my age to give me the computer skills and confidence to search and my amazing a job.The whole team at Sarina Russo Strathpine (including Carol my consultant, Violet - Indigenous coordinator and Stephen from the CTA program), always make me feel welcome and that nothing is ever a problem to help me. Whilst I am now working, I still love dropping in to see friendly smiling faces. Jodie and Violet are offering wonderful support as part of the post placement support program Sarina Russo offers. Sarina Russo Strathpine is not just an employment agency, they are a great support to me. Belinda from Strathpine office for Sabrina Russo is an amazing young lady. My son was sent to this office through Centrelink, this was a daunting prospect for him as he is an anxious young man. As his mother and carer we found as soon as we walked in the doors, the team were friendly and we felt at home. Belinda has given us all the information we needed and explained step by step procedures to my son, in a calm and easy manner that he could understand. The only thing now is that we have been transferred by Centrelink to a disability employment service and can only hope we get the same level of service. Well done to the team.
