Very lovely experience here, went here for last minute plans and I’m glad I did. Staff were very lovely and attentive. Very clean venue, saw staff even wearing gloves to serve food/drinks which were amazing by the way. Definitely will be back!

Revisited after 5 mths and really enjoyed the midweek night. Menu is interesting and extensive. Food was delicious and tasted fresh. Service was also great. A big improvement from last visit. A few little issues with drink menu which was happily fixed .Glad to recommend again.

Best Indian food restaurant ever. It’s waaaaay better than any other Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The staff are very polite but most importantly the food was to die for. The only complaint we had was they didn’t come back to check if you needed any more drinks or anything else while we were there but that was the only complaint we had. The food quality and taste and really good variety in the menu for food and beverages made it more than worth it. It’s definitely our number 1 place for dinner as Indian food is my favourite anyway but this was by far the best for quality, taste and variety just love this place.

This is a great place to go for lunch or dinner in the heart of Patterson Lakes. Great for a date night or casual get together with friends. The employees are always friendly and helpful with suggestions for something new to try. Nice selection of wines and beverages to choose from as well. The food is consistently good - and they are mindful for if you want your dish mild or spicy. And so flavorful!

The ambience is okay, service is impressive, a bit pricey however, in my opinion if you're from India, don't expect the food to suit your palette or meet your expectations. The recipe is curated in accordance with the Aussies in mind, which is fair enough. Will I visit this place or any other Shavans restaurant, the answer is probably no.

The food is still delicious. We have been visiting Shavans for 20+ years. We have seem the restaurant grow into what it is today.The service was very friendly and promptReception/management staff need to be mindful where they have a disagreement.The food was delicious as always. There is an extensive menu, and great options for everyone. Including vegetarians and vegans.Shavans is no longer BYO.It is family/children friendlyWe will be back again.

Overall a pass but given our previous experiences here bit disappointing this time. Noticed on arrival that one of our dinner plates still had small amount of sauce splatter on the edge which we pointed out and they replaced with an apology.. The stuffed mushroom entree which we shared was delicious. We then shared the sharvans special chicken with a side of lemon rice and garlic naan. The chicken was dry and its hard to know for sure but it appears the chicken was already cooked and the sauce just poured over it before serving. We've had this dish here before and its been great but not this time. We also had the coconut pawns which were quite tasty. Another minor issue were my partner furst glass of Rose wasnt chilled enough athough my 500 ml Kingfisher lager in a tall glass was nice and cold. We were full and skipped desert.

All the stuff from the Tandoor was great like the Tikkas and Kebabs. The prawns though were too Garlicy. The curries almost tasted the same and the beef seemed overcooked and too dry. For the money paid does not justify the ambience or the food quality. The service was great though.

I went in for dinner with my girlfriend on Saturday night and was incredibly impressed with everything. The place itself was beautifully decked out with a nice elevated view and warm family-friendly atmosphere.We ordered the tandoori lamb cutlets as an entree, the beef vindaloo & chicken kadai as mains with rice and garlic naan. The food was not only delicious but the service was also top notch. Special care was taken by our server Dipthi who clarified questions we had regarding spice level and her personal favourites on the menu.Even our host Devar was very hospitable and ended up going by table by table and to ensure the food was enjoyed by the patrons. Importantly this was done in a short and non-intimidating way as you could tell he has a passion and care for the food in the restaurant.Overall the experience was great and will definitely be back again.
