Truracks Western Towbars and Bullbars - Ironman 4x4 Penrith

Just had a Hayman-Reese towbar and hitch fitted to the BMW X3. Very neat and tidy job. They had to make a small cutout in the black plastic of the lower part of the bumper - used a nice edge trim that made it all look like it was meant to be there. Friendly and helpful service. hi all,I have recently picked up my new foam cell lift kit after it has beeninstalled in my 2021 Mitsubishi MR triton at your penrith supplier andfitter, Truracks Western Towbars & Bullbars - Ironman 4x4 Penrith.To my surprise upon picking it up, the mechanic told me that they didnot install the proper rated springs for my vehicle and that myvehicle was actually 100mm instead of the designated 50mm in the liftkit. When asked why, the mechanic shrugged his shoulders and told methey didn't have the comfort springs that I had ordered despitetelling me otherwise when I ordered and paid over the phone.This 100mm lift is illegal, so after supplying me with the wrongspring rate your penrith dealer told me to come back after 1000kms tosee if it has settled. That would be easier said than done if I couldactually drive the vehicle. Not that I should be driving a vehiclewith an illegal suspension lift anyway.Before I could even turn out of the driveway my tires immediatelystarted scrubbing the moment I turned my wheels quarter turn, and theyscrubbed so badly that I actually couldn't move my steering wheel. Ina moment of desperation, since your supplier had already shut up forthe night and left me in their car park with an illegal lift, I wasforced to remove my mud flaps in order to regain some turningcapabilities in order to limp home.The mechanic fitting this vehicle would have to have known how badlyit scrubbed because they would have had to move the vehicle in and outof the workshop. This was no accident, but genuine lack of care and Iam horrified. What happens if I hadn't noticed it til I took a sharpturn and locked my wheels on a busy road?To make matters worse, upon proper inspection in daylight this morningI've also found that the bumpstops are sitting on the control arms dueto this ridiculous lift. Which in turn could have caused furtherdamage to my new vehicle later down the track.After finally fiddling with my brand new triton, in order toaccomodate the suppliers terrible installation, I hobbled home only torealise that the vehicle's wheel alignment and geometry is so horriblyout of whack, that my brand new car has developed a serious drivelinevibration under acceleration and at high speeds. In addition to thevibration, it also seems to fall into every rut and bend of the road,sending it all over the road.I am absolutely horrified by this experience. I cannot believe thesupplier and mechanic would have let my vehicle out of the shop'sdoors knowing how illegal and unfit for purpose this lift was. I havenow been left with an illegal lift and a vehicle I can't drive forfear of getting pulled over or damaging after only having for 2 monthsand only 2000kms!!I hope to hear back about a resolution but I won't hold my breath, Ihave spent the past three hours trying to get a hold of the corporateoffice to no avail on their contact number.

Installed a tow bar into my car and told me something was wrong with my cars computer and sent me to ford, spend hours at ford only to realise nothing was wrong with my car. Went to a different tow bar shop and realised truracks had installed my wiring harness completely wrong.

I had an issue with the installation of suspension in my 2021 MR Triton. I couldn’t get through due to them being closed the next day and after leaving a rough review on their website, the owner reached out to contact me and find out what went wrong.Within two days, They had their work truck at my place to replace my personal vehicle while they got it towed back to the workshop to get it fixed.I had my vehicle back within 24 business hours and I’m very happy with how the lift turned out. I got a full run down of previous heights, changed and measurements as well.This was probably a one off mistake, but it was great to see a business so determined to get it right and fix their mistakes. You won’t be left hanging by this guys!

Had an Ironman snorkel and rock sliders fitted to my Ford Ranger. Easy to deal with and did a good job, looking forward to taking her out on the tracks in a couple of weeks! Thanks again!

**10 months since the install now and the second mudguard that was replaced by Truracks has now become dislodged again once the zip-ties used to fix it came loose. I don't even do offroading... Imagine if I actually used the 4x4 gear for what it's supposedly designed for.*5 month update since install*Overall the gear was installed well, but we have had 3 issues so far that needed to be fixed after everything was installed.About 1 month in, one of the front mudguards on a wheel arch came loose, causing it to rub against the tyre. Then a blinker stopped working due to faulty wiring, and the side mirrors didn't adjust anymore either because somehow they were left unplugged?Truracks were reluctant to pay for the 1st fault, but refused to pay for the other 2. Keeping in mind this was all done on a brand new car.Ironman products are overall really good, just a shame about the workmanship that let us down.

About 2yrs ago I had a snorkel fitted to a Ford Ranger and recently a draw system in the tub. I can tell everyone the fitting was great. NO problems. We have also recently had a bull bar fitted to the jeep wrangler, another great job. Now that I have a new vehicle I have booked in for a lift.

Had Evan and the team fit out my 4wd after being recommended to me by a mate. Very happy with the end result, and the customer service from Truracks through the whole process
