Nice experience with some interesting tasting options. We especially enjoyed the cheese & chocolate tasting. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the estate and range of Austrian grape varieties.

We came during the rain, but we were lucky to have a seat at the window.The most I enjoyed in the winery is chocolate tasting with wine, something unique that I have not tried yet.If you are at Hahndoft, consider visiting this great place.

My husband and I had our first experience of tasting chocolate with wine and it was incredible. The choco vino experience starts with a very knowledgable explanation about each piece of chocolate (milk to dark chocolate) and the combination of it with the chosen wine. It looks like each piece of chocolate and the wine were made to complement each other. Just perfect. The staff were super friendly with us and the place is so beautiful. We will be back for sure.

Yesterday I discovered this gem and I absolutely loved it. The service was superb and helpful. I ordered 3 red wines and a cheese plate, and I got detailed information about every single piece on the table. :)The surrounding is magical and the autumn leaves made it special.

Wow wow wow! We came here as it was close to Hahndorf town center. It’s autumn & the grape leaves has turned red. The view was more amazing from the cellar door. We did a wine tasting. The service was top notch. Cheryl, explain what we were tasting & was very tentative. The wine was very nice. We bought some.

Absolutely brilliant! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. A huge asset to the establishment. Visiting from Cape Town South Africa, we had a great time trying new and interesting wines.

My wife and I came for the Chocovino experience and really enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain all the wines and chocolate to us. The experience is really worth it! Most grocery chocolate does not pair well with wine, but they have hand crafted chocolate that really goes with the wine.

Hahndorf Hill Winery is an absolute hidden gem! The staff were so helpful and kind, our group couldn’t speak highly enough of the chocolate and wine flight, plus the ice cream and wine pairing experience was really surprisingly delicious (and dairy free)!The views over the vineyards are breathtaking and we found the whole experience so serene. The first time we visited it was an accidental find, but since then we’ve been back multiple times and have never been disappointed.
