Montrose Boardwalk
Such a cool experience to walk along the colourful boardwalks. We saw lots of ducks and water birds as well as taking in the nature of the foreshore. The views are incredible and we walked right over the water. There’s a BBQ area with beautiful tinted glass and some information along the way.We started at the Montrose Foreshore Community Park and were able to park there then walked to Wilkinson’s Point where the amazing Pink lit viewing room is.So many nice people walking and lots of doggies too which weren’t on the boardwalk itself but on the connecting paths.Definitely recommend and it was a nice even walk for our young family.

Lovely walk! Starting at the Montrose park and finishing at the GASP.Amazing views of the water/mountains.In the middle of this two points there’s seats, bbq, charging points, bins, picnic tables, large areas of grass ideal for picnic and relaxing.Many dogs on a leash and free as well.

Great to visit.. But my friend slipped on the slippery slip..and it was very slimy. She got covered in green stuff.. Looked like duck poo..but we still like it there.. Can't help bad luck..

It's a good place to go and take advantage of the facilities if you're local. I really like the undercover barbecue area. This is a nice walk of a late evening.

Very pretty. Nice, easy walk with picnic tables and a playground. Toilet amenities and plenty of parking.

Great place to spend time with friends or just to get some ow your own. Weekend bus frequent is extremely bad, so better you have your own vehicle to get there.
