Terrific experience each time my partner Emma or myself go. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful, the dentist Michael and his assistant Donna form some-what of a dream team.I’m actually looking forward to heading back there to get my wisdom teeth out... which is something I didn’t think I would ever say...5 stars.

I had three appointments here and although the dentist seemed to know what she was doing, I felt she didn't explain anything they were doing to my teeth e.g. clean, remineralise, x-ray etc, or why they were doing it. And didn't give me a comprehensive understanding of how healthy (or not) my teeth were. I was also referred to a surgeon for wisdom teether removal, and I found him brusque and judgemental.I decided to try a new dentist in Essendon and I found the experience much more helpful.

Fantastic service, loverly staff, I was very happy and comfortable with Dr Steve and his brilliant assistant. Will be back for sure.

MPDG are fantastic! I had my wisdom teeth removed in the chair on two occasions. First occasion were the top teeth in which I was literally in the chair for 20mins, quick and pain free, I couldn't believe it! The second time was the removal of the bottom teeth, which took a little longer and there was more work involved, but Steve was very gentle and there was no swelling or bruising on both occasions. I was so incredibly happy with the results, Steve was great! I had originally gone to another dentist who wouldn't remove my wisdom teeth in the chair and referred me to a dental surgeon who wanted to charge me $5k!!! At MPDG they had a look at my x-rays and Steve said he was more than capable to do so. With private health insurance I was out of pocket approx. $500. All gums are 100% healed with no issues what so ever. It was definitely better getting my teeth out in the chair with a local, as opposed to going under with anaesthetic. Maggie who completed my scale and clean was fantastic and all the ladies on reception are very lovely. It's nice to walk into a light-filled dentist where everyone is happy and helpful. I would definitely recommend :)

Had the worsr experience ever.. went for a clean. The lady (ash) was too rough and she is the worst dental cleaning experience i had in all my life. I am someone who regularly cleans my teeth ( every 6 months) and this is my first time in this clinic as I moved recently from city to moonee ponds. And i asked her to stop within 2 minutes into the clean. And they still charged me 70 dollars saying they did a check up when there was no xray. Worst place ever. ! I will go back to my dentist Gorgeous Smiles on exhibition street which has always been a breezy experience.

Dentist not personable in the slightest. I asked questions but barely got replies.

Mix of experienced dentists and younger ones...had an visit here where I cracked a tooth and a very young dentist took 90 mins to remove the tooth eventually calling for help. She did her best but was visibly nervous. I have had positive visits also.

Dr Dave has been fantastic for me over the past few years. I was beyond petrified to go to dentist after a bad childhood experience and he put me at ease and also explained in-depth what was needed to rectify issues. I’ve also had Michael for emergency dental and he was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Dr David Pitken is an amazing and experienced dentist who is very knowledgable and helpful. His dental assistants are really friendly and knowledgeable. Both make going to the dentist an easy task
