EDIT****Barely 'OK'.Sandwich was dryer than the Simpson and bland. Hotdog not the best.Thickshakes not thick and generic flavouring used. Cups and lids used are very cheap, expect sticky fingers. Would think a 'milk bar' would have decent cups to prevent spillageShop is clean and well presented, salad was fresh. A little overpriced.***Thanks for the reply and apology. I wouldn't have wanted any replacement thank you. A little mayo on the sandwich would have been good, a hotdog is well, a hotdog. The thickshakes were the big disappointment. Why be a milk bar if you are going to use that same old Cottees or similar syrup, can get that rubbish at and service station or takeaway in the country. It was expensive enough to use decent ice cream and ingredients and still be profitable. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism as you have a lovely shop in a nice country town and a good reputation (I went there due to word of mouth).

Nothing quite matches a visit to a retro Diner. Even has a jukebox.We are travelling from the Adelaide Hills & it was a welcome find. T'other ordered a hot dog, I had a salad wrap. The hot dog connoisseur said it's the best hot dog he has ever had. The sesame seed bun had a lot to do with it. High praise!Thank you for the friendly & helpful service too.

Food was ok just super expensive! Steak burger was tough & full of grissle. Thick shake wasn't thick. But it was clean and parking is easy right out the front.

2 simple toasted sandwiches cost $19,50 now that's a rip off! One was just bacon and cheese and the other bacon egg and cheese!please don't rip people off! Especially ur locals! I work locally and we do a bacon egg sanga for $6'90 ....no stars from me....poor effort

Not bahd not bahd for a “Milk Bar”, it felt more of like takeaway burger business to me.Burger purchased was alright as it tasted like a takeaway burger store product. I found that it was clean inside the store and parking was directly out the front.Thanks

Ok milk bar is a bit of a hidden gem in Gundi. Lots on the menu, it can make it hard to choose. A fair amount of seating inside and out. Great shakes too.

It was OK - points for accuracy!Retro theme, pretty good cherry ripe thickshake, chicken cheese toastie was nothing special.
