Australia Post - Mont Albert LPO

Can never reach them when calling the landline, I went there two days ago because parcel is still yet to picked up but apparently they can’t find it and say will call me back but has yet to. Now my parcel is still somewhere

Despite its small size the LPO has very friendly staff and efficient service. Prices have matched those listed on the Aus post website when i came in store to send a large parcel to NSW. Best post office east of the GPO!

I had to return a parcel that had been sent in error. I was a bit apprehensive because it was heavy but the experience was quick and easy and the service was friendly.

Not a pleasant experience. Female staff is not helpful, or flexible. I wanted to send parcel that was two (2) grams over , and she wanted to charge me next price bracket. I went to another post office and they accepted the parcel without any problem.

Was running late to post office after work, the staff happened to be still in the office 5 past 5 and let me in to collect my parcel. Thank you so much!

Visited only 3 times since it is located nearby suburb. But the experience I had each and every time was not a pleasant. When asked for a tracked domestic medium size envelop the owner or the guy at the counter said that there is no such a envelop like that. :) Auspost only have $2.95 and $5.95 (I was asking for $4.95 one). Another day they rejected my parcel (paid through online and packed by myself at home) says that it’s overweighted to the mentioned weight on the label. I was confident that I measured the weight accurately at home and entered the right weight to the online system. Then I lodged the same parcel at nearby post office without an any issue and the weight they got from the scale is right match with mine on the label. Also they rejected my domestic letter with tracking envelop claiming that it’s more than 20mm thick. But I lodged the same at nearby postoffice after a minute drive without an issue. They measured the letter with letter gauge and it’s alright. I have sent more than hundreds of same package with same item inside and never got a single return till now. The letter gauge they use is not physically attached to any surface. Just use by hand. So if it bends, the letter may stuck in the gauge. And he is not trying to pull it through the gauge. If he thinks that the letter is around 20mm he will somehow reject it. But the truth is any other post office will accept it even it’s 20mm. Because that’s the rule. He better use the gauge correctly. The conclusion I got from the last two visits is the guy at the counter (Most probably the owner) doesn’t like to lodge any letter or parcel which is prepaid or paid through online.

The caucasian male with the dark hair/beard who works here regularly is so miserable and unfriendly it honestly puts me off going in. It's like he really resents being there and resents having to help people. probably should reconsider a role in customer service!!! Other workers are quite nice although service tends to be slow.

Plenty of boxes in there hard to move around might be an idea to relocate to somewhere bigger like where the pick a flick was
