Refs for netball dont know the rules and allow assault. You can not push a player. You can not restrict the free movement of a player. You cannot slap the ball when someone holds the ball. But the refs here allow it. I have been slapped 12 times (on the hand, bicept and forearm) by one male in my first game and worse by girls in my 3rd game. In a social" "friendly" comp. Staff then proceed to say "you need to stand there and take it or move away" and then "we have told you what you need to do" and "you're not listening to us". Poor customer service and safety."

kids love the Ready Steady and Go there. It is 4-6yrs activity program. They can try all kinds of mobilities such as running, hopping, throwing and jumping. It also includes basketball. They change the set of activities every two weeks. It's good to let kids join and try out more PE activities before sign them up in their interested specific after school sports lessons later on.

I have basketball lessons in pcyc and usually finish around 7:30 but not even once but many times the staff comes in 30 minutes earlier than closing time to tell us to stop playing during our lesson. Sometimes they turned off the light in the middle of a game.

We come here for playing badminton in the weekends. While the place is okay(maybe a 3 star just for the place), the booking facility is not very friendly and is not transparent as well. Would have been nice if they had online booking so that we don’t have to walk in every day to see if we can book for the coming weekend. We also arranged a birthday party for our kid there. Again facilities and the pricing was reasonable but getting to book for so so difficult. Only one person controls birthday party booking and she was away for quite sometime and nobody else could give us solid answers. Bookings, reception can definitely be made better - can be more friendly and transparent!

I had my daughter’s 7th birthday party here. It was awesome! No stress and the kids had a blast. The party coordinator Karoline made it a very positive experience as did the cafe staff. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for an alternative to the usual frenetic party places.

ReadyStreadyGo here is great but near impossible to get to level 1 if you need the lift. Reception isn’t helpful.

this is NOT a youth organisation, its a business they domt care about the youth only money they overprice everything so much and you cant even use the facilities. 1 time i was at the youth centre because i wanted to play ball and i tried calling them before multiple times and they dont bother picking up so i called them while i was at the place and the people purposely left the call. They were just sitting down.

Great facility and staff, people who have given poor ratings due to staff being rude may be justified, but that has never been the case for me (although i only interact with the reception and gymnastics staff). The facility itself is in great condition too, from the gym to the gymnastics area, to the basketball courts and boxing area. Poor reviews given because of difficulty booking a basketball court don't seem to appreciate the fact that if it's constantly booked, then it must be well liked. The only issue i have had is that on some calls, no one has answered, and the call is eventually just dropped as the waiting cue seems to not be very long. Another issue is that sometimes their online website isn't completely up to date on info (such as there being a mid-term break for gymnastics). All and all however it is a great place, and it serves an important role in the community.

Hosting an event to match job seekers with local employers, PCYC provided space and resources to serve the community. Especially great was the catering, provided by the on-site cafe Kitchen Xpress. They delivered beyond expectation to ensure that everyone had plenty of quality food and catered for those with varied dietary constraints. What an awesome team Kitchen Xpress & PCYC have - they genuinely care about serving all those in the community.

Poor range of equipment. Went here for a year when I was under 18 and appreciated the lower price of $10 but was told 3 weeks before I turned 18 that I needed to start paying the new $25 adult price, despite clearly not being an adult and her being able to see my date of birth when scanning the card. Staff were always very passive and I always felt unwanted and ignorant coming there as a young girl who was learning gym basics. Do not recommend, and do not appreciate the severe increase in price when turn 18 in proportion to the quality of the gym and range of equipment. I have now taken my business to fitness first which is cheaper than the 25 a week and is much classier and offers my way more gym wise and customer service wise. Disappointed.
