Fantastic centre with really interesting exibits from the space program and a really great view of the communication antenna and the whole installation from the open deck. The centre manager Glen was really informative and had really good knowledge of operations. It is well worth the trip out to see it, through beautiful Aussie countryside.

The Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC) is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in space exploration. My friend and I had the opportunity to visit the facility, which was impressive. Knowing that it was one of the critical facilities responsible for receiving the iconic Pale Blue Dot" photograph of Earth

Absolutely fantastic place to drive by and visit as currently the visitor centre is closed which is very unfortunate. It's a wonderful drive to the location and a great sight to see nontheless!

Why isn't it open yet? There are now no COVID restrictions in place. I've been so many times after riding with @coolartpour through the hills. I also love to take my visitors, both local and interstate, to check it out. Amazing history and being able to check what planets are being tracked is fantastic. Teaching my grandchildren about when man walked on the moon and how Australia was involved is also very important. I went in February 2023 for someone's birthday surprise and was saddened to see it still not open. Please, please, please open it again.

A great drive out there. Small museum but lots of cool information to be soaked up. Cafe is very expensive and of average quality but the complex its self has alot of cool info and if you get there early enough, you get to see some of the local wild life.

This is one of those locations to go to while on an all day barbecue trip. It is the perfect distance away from Canberra and the roads leading upto this place are so good for driving and for motorcycling.Obviously, the place was close when we got there. But the views from the outside aren't too bad either.

My favorite place in Canberra. Lots of space related exhibits to fire up the imagination. Has a real moon rock. Get inside a space suit. Good cafe and gift shop, easily drop $100 here on little space gizmos and toys every time we visit. Small playground out the back.

Great place to visit in the past and find out what is happening in space. When are you reopening to the general public asides from school excursions, even without the cafe? Also why doesn't NASA chip in to promote space exploration and support the visitor centre financially? The investment goes a long way toward public awareness and support for their space exploration programmes. Do they have moths in their wallet?
