Wish I’d read recent reviews before ordering. Tonight we ordered from the counter and waited, yet fish came out dry, chips were a bit soggy, dim sim had no crunch.Super disappointed considering my parents loved this place last summer and the website suggested they’d won plenty of awards.

Used to be the best fish n chips around. Clearly has changed hands in the past few years. Shark n chips, pineapple fritter, $19...looked ok but none of it was much above average, the shark especially was dry and ammoniacal, clearly frozen for months. Won't be back. So sad.

Really great place, my personal favourite at the boulevard. The staff are so kind and go above and beyond to provide great service. Fish and chips were cooked perfectly and tasted really fresh. 10/10 would recommend

Really great menu variety with loads of options! I love how the menu has a choice between affordable fish and fresh fish that is more high end. We also love the homemade salads! Definitely my family’s first choice for fish and chips.

Was pretty disappointing - not the best fish and chips at all, not even gravy or chicken salt, little things like that go along away, size of fish was pretty small too. If your after a good fish and chip fix - go to a better rated one.

I haven’t been back here in a while and a lazy drive home from Cottesloe we had to call in! However I was so disappointed, firstly I felt like an inconvenience to the server, they ran out of fish burgers so I settled for the $20 snapper and chips. The fish was so dry (fresh more like frozen) and well over cooked, the chips were fine - but I came away feeling really let down.I use to rave about this shop - unlikely to do so again

Very impressed with every aspect of the shop. There is a variety of fish to choose from and it comes in generous servings. Fish and chips both cooked beautifully and the servers were very friendly and accomodating! To top it off, the chef makes the most fresh, delicious salads and you can’t beat the location :)

I used to sing the praises of the Groper as the most deluxe fish with chips to die for but not any more. I had dinner tonight and my meal came out very quickly, far too quickly to have been cooked fresh. It looked and tasted as if it had been lying around and was just heated up. The chips were overcooked and dry and the fish came out in pieces that looked as if it been dropped and gathered together and put roughly on the top of the chips like a broken jigsaw. The fish was dry too and overcooked. Such a disappointing experience. It’s pizza for me from the shop next door next time.

We ordered salmon but received tuna patties, when I asked for what we ordered I was told they were closing so we could either eat them or get a refund, not too good at all
