Loxton Hotel

Great Accommodation (Murray River room)Food was below average. I ordered roast beef. When it arrived 2 thin slices of roast beef and 5 cold roast potatoes. I said to the young person that dropped it of all he could say was sorry"Note:- I was born in loxton in 65 and have always loved staying at this community run hotel. Have always loved the accommodation and food. But the food this time not good."

Right near the Murray river...in town ...great pub. Sensational food and service. Top accomodations it five stars for me

What a fantastic pub.. Absolutely fantastic decor with so many different areas to have a drink, eat or have a bet. We had a coffee in Cafe 1908 . Such a great cafe with nice outdoor area too.

Had lunch at hotel today i ordered roast of the day I got 4 very thin slices of pork and 5 chunks of roast potato which taste like it was microwaved with gravy I imagined roast comes with carrots potato pumpkin maybe some beans but no just potato.thats not a roast meal very disappointing.

We booked 2 nights in a river view room and had to cancel the second night once we arrived and they were happy to do this without any issues.The room was excellent, extremely clean and comfortable. They have an excellent views over the Murray River.The food in the restaurant was really good and great size meals

Went for lunch today, a bit disappointing, meals were cold when they arrived, no veggies except potato with the meal. Then we were informed there is a salad bar....having never been to Loxton Hotel before we were unaware. Communication is key.

Rooms were small but very clean and good value for money. Reception staff friendly and polite. Had dinner at the bistro on our first night, could see venue has had a major upgrade and atmosphere was great.Only down side was the meals were average at best and salad / vegetables bar was empty. Had to clear my own glasses from table multiple times and ask staff to clear our food plates after 20 minutes of finishing.Total experience was 6 out of 10 would have been a 9 out of ten if they got the meals right and service with F&B staff.

Away for work went to the Loxson hotel for a quick bite to eat after a big day on the tools and wanted up to 1 haft hours for our food because they had lost the docket for our meals and it wasn’t until I walked up to the bar and said something to them that our meals came out and we did get a round of free drinks? I was not happy
