Seriously, think long and hard about signing on with PJ Pools. And despite the best efforts of the salespeople to tell you that the bad feedback you see online is a result of a few bad apples or overbearing customers, I can assure from experience that the problems start with the guy who runs the business. And if you are going to sign on, make sure your contract has penalty $ clauses if PJ run over time... its no coincidence to me that our contract template (from SPASA VIC now the Master Pool Builders Association) didn't have that. Why, because people like Peter are on the Board. I called the MPBA in frustration seeking help and despite assurances their CEO would call me back, he didn't... clearly knows on which side his bread is buttered.Anyway, PJ's service is terrible service, up there with the worst phone company, only you're spending a whole lot more with PJ's.The office is disorganised and it seems like they can't action anything unless the owner, Peter Zukowski, approves.I even had one of their former staff text me during the works to say if you can't talk to Peter you'll just get the run around. So I thought things were looking up when Peter came to my site in January 22 and told me he'd be seeing our job through to completion. But dealing with the head honcho (not sure I really ever got the chance to do that anyway) was as painful as it comes.Through gritted teeth, countless emails and phone calls (where I'd have to repeat myself over and over), trying any and every phone number I had for them, we got the pool to be useable but not full handover on 23 December. And now that there's only $200 worth of work left (and a final proper handover), I'm back to being completely ignored again.I should say there are some good people at PJ's (people like Scott and Monty who came to site and worked hard to make the experience as best they could), but starting at the top there are serious serious issues.I doubt PJ's will respond (they probably don't even read these anymore), but if they do they might try and get some mileage from a leak my landscaper caused, so I better be transparent and cop that. But if PJ's didn't try and save a few bucks on the first inspection and would have more thoroughly assessed the pool they would have also found the leaking light assembly and the pinhole leak next to a pipe which were completely their fault and we both could have avoided far less pain and delayMy only hope is that I don't need to chase up any maintenance issues under warranty because I'd need some counselling if I had to go through this again.

They built the pool in August 2020, not for us, but the previous owners.By December 2021 rust spots were appearing in the pool. We contacted them in Feb 2022 about the problem. It is now Jan 2023, still no returned phone call from Vince (mentioned in other posts) or Peter (the owner), still no site visit to look at the issue, still no offer of a solution.Stay away from PJ Pools. As with other reviews here, ONE STAR IS ONE STAR TOO MANY.Looking at the HUGE number of bad reviews and problems, is a class action an option ? Can someone let me know

Buyers beware!! Zero stars if possible. Unbelievably disappointed with this company. The pic attached of our pool shows what your PJ Pool will probably look like just after the warranty expires. A complete renovation is required after the surface used by PJ's 11 years ago (Q-Quartz), started crumbling - coincidently a couple of months after the warranty expired! Final straw after repeated problems with rust stains from rusting reo and other surface cracks - all requiring multiple calls to get repairs done. Strangely(!) now PJ's claim they have no record of our job (nothing on file!), not that I would let them anywhere near our place again.

Having recently torn my bicep tendon, which required surgery, I can honestly say that it was less painful than dealing with PJ Pools. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I signed a contract in May 2021 and I am still waiting for my pool to be finished in August 2022. Some of the best examples of my experience with PJ pools are attached (and there are many more):1. The installation of a safety fence" which had a massive gap between it and my fence allowing anyone to fall into the enormous hole in my back garden (its lucky I don't have small children

After signing our contract in March 2022, we were told depending on weather the pool would start by September to October at the latest. Now we had a terrible winter in Victoria, but after the initial start month, no one contacted to say construction would be delayed due to the weather problems. I constantly called but no one could tell me what was going on.I ended up ringing the sales person via a landline phone and he actually picked up.We were told by him at the end of November that the pool would start the 3rd or 4th week of January. The next day our building supervisor rung to ask if they could start the 1st week of January, I informed them no and he said the week after. I ended up ringing again on January 6th and again no one could tell me whats going on.The week of the 9th of January, I phoned everyday as no one called me back as they had said they would. I ended up phoning on Wednesday to cancel the contract altogether. Once again no one could help or return the phone call.I also called the local council who told me no pool building permit had even been issued for our property, so not sure how they were starting this week without a permit in place.Had someone call Friday wanting to know when they could come around! Are you serious I cancelled 2 days earlier, as of this review I still haven't been contacted by anyone from this company and not even a reply to my email requesting the contract be cancelled.Absolutely horrible customer service, no one in the office seems to know what's going on or how to return phone calls or emails. I would avoid this company at all costs.

Peter and his amazing team did an fantastic job renovating our 40 year old pool. It now looks brand new with new equipment and plumbing installed. Covid-19 delayed the works but the finished job was worth the wait. Scott's handover was thorough and I now have a good understanding of how to keep our new pool looking great. All I need now is some good weather so that I can try it out! Thanks P J Pools.

Work with Peter and his team. Real professional team and really easy to work with. Completed all of my work within agreed time and really happy with the final outcome. Well recommend for any type of pool construction.

Overall pool looks great however communication is a big problem with this company. It took weeks to get a start date which they didn't actually meet anyway. Many delays due to covid but very little communication unless I called or sent multiple emails. Also have had coping pavers lose their grout and it's taken one year with still no resolution. Tried to blame my paving guys who did the surrounds. I have raised a complaint with DRV and left it in their hands. No one has come to check and confirm next steps and I'm done waiting. Not many positives other than the finish of the waterline tiles and render is done well.

They are great till you have a problem.Have been calling for 3 month regarding an issue with the pool, have left several messages for Peter the owner with out the common courtesy of a call back.Looks like I'm gonna have to take legal action to get this sorted.

Scott from PJ Pools is wonderful!Professional, extremely helpful, warm, friendly and can't do enough for you to ease you into the ins and outs of the equipment usage.Came just before Christmas regardless of his dinner booking with family as we were in need of him. For that we were extremely grateful.Fixed all our problems efficiently and promptly. He is a credit to the company.Thank you Scott.Ida & Chris Bussau
