We stumbled across the Dooragan National Park whilst having a break on the drive south. Whilst the weather wasn’t in our favour, the two lookouts would offer spectacular views on a clear day.

One of the most precious places to explore with spectacular views far and beyond. Great forest walk.

Did the Laurieton Trail. Not for the faint hearted! It’s a bit of a workout, takes about an hour each way. About 880 stairs to climb, and some loose rocks / gravel can be a bit slippery on the way down. Had the pleasure of being delayed by a pretty diamond python sun-baking on our way up!

One of the best views I had ever. The height matters. If you love a scenic view with the beach, town, mountains etc then this is the place to be. Trekking is an option for those who wants to burn the calories by walking all the way up. Takes almost an hour of walking. There is a road as well to drive up to the view points.

Hard hike with loads of steps ( > 800) but the views along the way and at the top are worth the effort.

Wonderful refreshing spot with many lookout areas and a small walking track. Take in the views of Laurieton, Diamond Head and other areas. A must visit if you’re in Port Macquarie, Taree or Camden Haven.

Another amazing lookout. Can't get enough of it in Australia. Do try out the small trail walks they have. Entrance is located close to the car park by the lookout.

Such a beautiful, peaceful lookout. Haven't been there since the fires though but will be back soon to support some of the businesses in the area.

Great spot for a picnic views are amazing. There’s toilets and picnic tables with a decent amount of parking. The turning into the road leading to the park can be easily missed so keep a lookout for the road sign
