Very poor patient care for my father who ended up being transferred to Sydney. Still cannot believe the amount of incorrect & misinformation provided plus total lack of patient care.

Indian nurses have absolutely no idea what there doing and when you question them they say that I’m disrespectful doctor asked if we new what was going on when they didn’t have a clue what was goin on and when we ask have they read the charts they said no we haven’t . I reckon they’d be flat fixing a broken toe nail the place is hopeless. They need to get rid of the inexperienced Indian nurses there because it’s bringing the place down a new hospital isn’t going to fix it it needs proper professional caring Nurses witch the Indians are not there there for money and that’s all poor Australia is I can say it’s so wrong.just look at all the one star reviews that says it all.

Amazing service. I came in this afternoon very sick because of vomiting, nausea and blurred vision. My nurse was so empathetic and kind. She made me feel so welcome and supported. It’s people like this that the health care system needs more of. My Doctor was so helpful and I’m so grateful he was my Doctor today.

Griffith base hospital phoned me on Saturday morning 25th July 2020 to immediately come and get my 81 year old mother out. She had a head injury and 2 broken ribs she had received in a fall on Thursday night 23rd July 2020.As I have an eyesight disability and am unable to hold a drivers license, I had to pay someone to drive me 151 kilometres to pick her up. My mother can hardly walk, is unable to dress herself and has a urine infection from a catheter she said was not changed during her stay. Her urine is filled with blood. We are in a remote area and are only able to get medical appointment by phone. It could days before the antibiotics prescribed by the doctor will reach her.Griffith Base hospital's lack of care to my mother is appalling. After her fall, and the ambulance finally arrived a second ambulance was needed to lift her. She weighs 35 kilograms! The second ambulance didn't want to turn up, I heard an ambulance officer say to the other one he had to argue to get him to come. The reason they needed 3 people to lift, was because of suspected spinal injury. The nearest Ambulance station is 44 kilometres away.My mother should still be in hospital!

Heads are going to roll. Will be calling HCCC to make complaints tomorrow. Was basically turned around and nearly wrote my car off and killed people on the way home as my vision was so bad. It's been posted on YouTube. If someone dies due to your negligence and the fact I have been unable to see a doctor all the proof has been publically documented.

My wife had a horrible experience working for this hospital. Very low facilities. They didn't pay overtime after hours of overtime work. If you're from a city, just don't go to this place. If you're a health care worker, please consider again before start working here.

Would rate less if I could. When having a blood test I didn't even consent for after being brought in at night, they missed the vein in my hand and instead of trying again, moved the needle around while it was still in my hand. Couldn't find the vein, and moved on to my dominant hand instead missing once but trying again that time. The most painful and almost horror movie worth experience I have ever had. Do not recommend.
