SIBA Retreat Centre Victoria - Tibetan Buddhist Society of Canberra | SIBA Retreat Centre is a beautiful and friendly Buddhist retreat centre in the Snowy River country of East Gippsland, Victoria. Formerly ONTOS, it was founded by Lama Choedak Rinpoche and formally opened and consecrated by His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche in 2006. During this time His Eminence gave the centre the dharma name 'Tsarchen Choeling'.

An absolutely wonderful place to wind up from a busy life. George and Kristen are amazing.The road is not very sedan-friendly, though. Enjoy your stay!

A welcoming community, comfortable self-contained accommodation, unbelievably good vegetarian meals, all set in 108 acres of beautiful lush countryside. Add in a Buddhist temple, an inspiring availability of retreat options and fill your basket with wild blackberries (in summer) and you'll be planning a second stay.
