Dry cleaner was unable to remove basic stains and I paid $120 for the privilege of having 3 items returned to me, all with the original stains, despite the owner telling me when I put the items in that he could easily remove them. On collection, the excuses ranged from 'the stain must have been too old' to 'the stain can't have been what you thought it was'. I appreciate that not all stains can be removed but to have paid an exorbitant $120+ for three items to be dry cleaned, and not an offer of a reduced rate for failing to deliver the service that he was so confident he could do when I put the items in, is dismal customer service.

Excellent Dry Cleaners. Dropped in a suit with food stains all over it. 1 day later and it looks brand new! Strongly recommend to locals.The reception is friendly.

incredibly rude and unhelpful, particularly the unprofessional older man behind the desk. ended up talking to some neighbours around Woollahra and all said that they don't go there because of rude service. Reputation proceeds them only I learnt myself a little late. Won't be going back.

WOOLLAHRA DRY CLEANING SHIRTS & LINEN SERVICE
Had a quite negative experience with Woolahra Dry Cleaning and Laundry on Ocean st, for a couple of reasons: 1) The dry cleaning wasn't ready on the next day, as they promised. I was told it would be ready by 2pm on the next day. I drove there to pick it up and had to turn around empty-handed. To add to the frustration - they could have notified me of the delay, as they had my phone number, but they neglected to do so. 2) The jacket after the pick up still smelled like body odour. I am not even sure they cleaned it. Will have to take it to another dry cleaner to get the job done properly.

I would recommend these guys to anyone. My wedding dress was truly FILTHY after our wedding (which has got to be a sign of a good party!). We received a quote from a different dry cleaner for almost $600 to try and clean it. My dress is pink and white so they needed to be fairly delicate. That was way too much for me, so I asked a friend and they recommended Woolhara Dry Cleaners. They charged half of my previous quote to clean the dress. It came out better than I ever expected - like new! Thank you so much.

WOOLLAHRA DRY CLEANING SHIRTS & LINEN SERVICE
This is an okay option for robust garments, but like so many dry cleaners, the pressing is the problem. I’ve had several suits irreparably damaged and buttons on shirts are regularly broken. Even though we’ve been customers for years, the owner is aggressively defensive at the slightest complaint. I’ve stopped going here, my husband continues to use the shirt service due to convenience.
