Food should be 2.5/5, but will give 3 based on previous good experiences. The food has gone downhill. There were many types of risotto previously, the chicken was delicious but now they stick prawns in it. It's poor for those who cannot eat seafood. It was better during covid, did the chef's leave? Even the lamb shanks were bland on Saturday.

Ordered a med to well done steak and was uneatable, gnocchi was tasteless.Tuna was overcooked! tin tuna would be better than what was served up.Avoid going there it was horrible. The only good thing about the night was a complimentary drink for there 1 star food

Dinner was delicious. We all had big meat meals and all were outstanding! The kids pizza looked a little underwhelming but my son still loved it!Was quite noisy, and service a little slower than usual, but it was probably busier than usual too.

Great place to go, it's got everything. Sports bar, restaurant, outside area, smokers quarters. I went to the restaurant for work Christmas dinner and was not disappointed.

Decent food but I've often had lukewarm food, the food is really tasty however it sometimes feel like it has been re-heated.Definitely still like coming here though, cool atmosphere and the drinks are great!

Great food, large serves and helpful staff. The kids loved the play area, lots of things to climb. Probably not suited for smaller kids under 2, some areas are quite high and challenging.

Very busy joint with great pub food. The portion were amazingly huge. For drinks and dessert you will need to go to relevant counters to order. But for food can order to the service staff at your table.

Our booking was for lunch - 12.00.We were seated by the window that looked onto the outdoor deck area. The first thing I noticed was a dead fly on our table & a half filled bottle of water on the windowsill beside me. It must have been there all night. If I hadn’t noticed these things then I would have been drawn to the filth on the floor & windowsills!I went to the bar to get a serviette to remove the dead fly & the lady at the table near us also had to go & get one too - to remove the dead fly off her table! There were flys everywhere.Or meals arrived in a timely manner. The servings were huge. My husband & I are seniors & we have found so many places that do not cater for us. The Amstel Club was no exception…We don’t eat as much & hence the waste was a problem for us. Particularly as the meals were expensive. My husband & friend had the Seafood Paella, both enjoyed their meals, however my husband could only manage a small amount. My friend had the Calamari & at $32 she was hoping it would awesome… she said her meal was ok.I had the Angus Burger. The bun was supposed to be on brioche, I don’t think it was as it was very “bready”, the meat patty was dry & overcooked.I just think that for the cost (increased since we were last there) it was not as good as we were last there..Sadly.
