Excellent Australian wildlife sanctuary where you can have close encounters with koalas, kangaroos, emus as well as many other birds and animals. We did the koala caper encounter and loved it.Most of the koalas are rescue animals and happily let you pat them or pose for photos. There are all kinds of activities and demonstrations as well as a cafe with a log fire. It's an excellent place for a family day out.

Excellent day out, friendly animals to feed and pat. Great live educational shows with the animals and chatty birds. The property is beautiful and great food and coffee in the Cafe. Well and truly worth a visit.

Hands down THE best wildlife sanctuary experience I have had in SA. With all the new developments going on, there's plenty to see and plenty more to be excited about in the near future. The animal handling was fantastic and our guide/presenter Kat was charismatic, clever and incredibly fun for the whole experience. All of the staff are so passionate about the sanctuary in a way you don't quite see anywhere else. Will definitely be back again.

Wow this has to be one of the world’s most interesting cafes. There would never be a dull moment working there. The eccentric décor of ‘the shed cafe’ provides a rustic and bucolic feel which is made even more pleasant by the friendly service and general tranquil vibe of the place while at the same time being full of entertaining things for the kids from colouring books to lots of animal enclosures with frogs, lizards and colourful fish and a cockatoo who greets you on the way in. The kids got to hold a snake and play with a blue tongue lizard which they though was really cool and we thought was a great distraction while we enjoyed our coffees watching the colourful birds in the beautiful garden. We didn’t have time to explore the sanctuary on this visit however we overheard the table next to us talk about a platypus they saw on their morning tour which made us quite envious and even keener to return quickly.

This is such an underrated attraction. Beautiful and clean surroundings, happy and healthy animals, friendly staff and knowledgeable keepers, plenty of space for kids to enjoy the great outdoors, a lovely Cafe with well priced food and drink. And it's not going to break the bank to get your family through the gate. Just outside of Stirling, so not even a long way out of town. If you're lucky you might even see one of the six resident platypuses. And the coffee is excellent!

Wow my heart is so full. David the owner would have to be one of the kindest humans I have met. I took my client to Warrawong who has Huntingtons disease and very unstable when walking. I did not realise how steep it would be until we got there. David with a big smile was straight onto it and borrowed me his buggy to drive my client around, he also gave us a tour guide. It was breathtaking such a slice of heaven, I was truly overwhelmed by David's generosity. My client was over the moon. David is full of knowledge, and such a humble man. I am still smiling ear to ear and will Pay it forward, to makes others Happy is so rewarding. Thankyou for making the world a better place. Thankyou to Narelle and all the staff. You all are AMAZING

Best Wildlife sanctuary in SA by far. Passionate staff and volunteers. Amazing history. It's small compared but if your into authentic conservation, this is it. The coffee shop is stunning and all owned and run by one family.

Visiting Warrawong was the highlight of our month in Adelaide. We visited with our grandkids and their parents and had the most wonderful day, close to the animals and learned so much from the keepers who obviously have such a love and passion for their work. It is a beautiful environment and I can't wait to see how it develops in years to come.
