Lots of space to kick a ball, fly a kite.BBQ facilities, seated bench areas, quite beach. Nice walk when the tied is out. Kids play areas. Plenty of trees to shade on hot days. Easy access and plenty of parking. Toilet block and taps to rinse the sand off. Pet friendly.

It's ok I guess, I find it gets over crowded very quickly here and is a poor use of space. Definitely needs more gazebos and BBQs to keep up with the growing population in southern Redlands, this being the only swimmable beach down here makes it very popular for birthdays and other parties on weekends which occupy the BBQ and gazebos for hours. A Playground upgrade would be great (the big kids playground not toddler) I've noticed older kids get bored with the current play equipment. The water quality here can be very poor some days and smelly. There's been many times where I've arrived at Thompson's only to decide to travel Up to Raby Bay instead for the reasons stated above. Overall when the water is nice, there's no smell and you can get a spot on the beach or a turn on the bbq it can be a lovely little spot but definitely needs more play equipment and amenities, it feels out dated.

Great place to go for a morning walk along Thompson's Beach and watch the sunrise. Poop bags and water for dogs. Good playground for kids, basketball hoop, exercise equipment, lots of open space. Plenty of BBQs and shelters. Lovely sandy area and calm water.

Children's playground is fenced. Really quite well maintained. Softfall is in reasonable condition and does the job. Nice beach to play on

Great spot to swim at high tide. Good park equipment for kids, both toddler and older ones. Gym equipment. Some shade spots on the beach under trees, but suggest bring your own at peak times. Cafe around the corner at Brown Sugar highly recommend.

Excellent park and walking riding scooting area with a sandy shallow beach (does get mushy further out) at high tide and an awesome low tide aquatic adventure. Great bbqs and family facilities 2 play grounds a half court for basketball and exercise equipment

Busy little spot on weekends if you're near the tables or playground. A pleasant place to walk on the water, watch the ibis, listen to the birds and simply relax.

Nice and quiet. Outdoor play area for the kids, a few shaded spots under the trees to set up a picnic rug a few shaded table areas lovely view of the water. Foot path along the water to either ride your bike or walk your dog. Plenty of bins. Clean and tidy area to relax in. Nice spot to take a dip and cool off. Plenty of parking!

Very pretty view. Ample room for family gatherings. The beach is surprisingly clean, very little mud in the sand. We were there early, before lunch, and the tide was out but if you have little ones, and you don't mind a little walk, there is still plenty of water for them to have a splash in. Plus a dedicated fenced playground for them as well. There is a larger playground up the other end of the park for bigger kids too.
