Royal National Park is a breathtaking natural wonder located just outside of Sydney, Australia. As one of the world's oldest national parks, it offers visitors an exceptional experience filled with stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and a range of recreational activities. One of the most impressive aspects of Royal National Park is its sheer beauty. The park boasts a stunning coastline that stretches for miles, featuring pristine beaches, dramatic cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. The scenic views are truly awe-inspiring and provide ample opportunities for photography enthusiasts to capture the perfect shot. The park's diverse flora and fauna are another highlight. Walking through the lush rainforests, you'll encounter a variety of plant species, from towering eucalyptus trees to vibrant wildflowers. Wildlife enthusiasts will be delighted by the chance to spot kangaroos, wallabies, and a plethora of bird species, making it a paradise for nature lovers.Royal National Park also offers an array of activities for outdoor enthusiasts. Hiking trails crisscross the park, catering to all levels of fitness. Whether you're embarking on a leisurely walk or a challenging trek, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking vistas along the way. Additionally, the park offers excellent opportunities for swimming, fishing, cycling, and picnicking, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. The park's facilities and infrastructure are well-maintained, with picnic areas, barbecue facilities, and visitor centers scattered throughout. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, providing valuable information about the park's history, trails, and wildlife. One aspect to consider is the park's popularity, particularly on weekends and holidays. Due to its proximity to Sydney, it can get quite crowded during peak times. To fully appreciate the park's tranquility, visiting on weekdays or during the off-peak season is recommended. In conclusion, Royal National Park is a true gem that offers a captivating natural experience. Its breathtaking landscapes, diverse wildlife, and range of recreational activities make it a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike. Absolutely stunning National park with beautiful walks and scenery, highly recommend the coastal walk. The 3 star review is for the national parks authority who do not have the appropriate signage or facilities to pay when entering with a vehicle over 8 seats before 7amWe are a yoga group of 16 people that entered at 6:30am with no signs relating to bus entry we payed out $12 admission fee, we are not a commercial group but on the following Monday I received a call stating because I was conducting commercial activities I would have to pay $74.80. That I had to pay over the phone as there was no other way to do it.If you would like to charge people for entering in groups and doing yoga in the National park you should at least have the facilities or signage relevant.

Absolutely stunning walks for all skill levels. We went on a day it was raining so there were very few people around. Still great views and the weather didn't stop us from appreciating them. We went to the Wattamolla car park and walked to the beach and the lookout. Will be back for a longer walk when the weather picks up!

Popular national park with royal coastal walk and famous fingure 8 pool.Just follow google map to reach the head of the trail. From here you can choose different walks that suit you. Suitable for all ages. I saw many kids and elderly along the trails too.Parking is $12 for whole day.If you do the figure 8 pool, ensure to check the tide ahead. Only go during low tide (early morning is the best if you want to avoid the crowd too). It can get very dangerous with unexpected strong wave and higher tide so definitely be careful. People died here before at figure 8 pool.Rocky parts, so ensure you wear proper shoes as it can ger slippery. Otherwise, pretty easy walk.We took 40 mins to walk down and 55 mins to walk up but it was a chill good day and we did it pretty quickly. You should allow around 2-3 hrs return for the trip.

It took us 1 hour to walk to the wedding cake rock. Too bad that we can't actually take a photo on top of the wedding cake rock now. It is dangerous now since there's already some crack there, and it might fall anytime. But nevertheless, beautiful view on the way there cheers us up.It was really sunny when we started walking there, but it suddenly got a bit chilly because a thick mist appeared out of nowhere. It clears up when we were walking back. The weather can change anytime.Just be sure to bring your water before you go.

Spectacular!! I’m not a fan of track walking, but this is worthy! Lucky we did it on a weekday, less crowded and beautiful weather! Wedding cake is only available behind the fence!

This National Park is large enough to explore over and over again and it seems to be well managed, with little signs of invasive species
