Foxglove Oval

Mediums sized oval, which caters for athletics, soccer, cricket, rugby and various other sports. Due to this high level of use and poor drainage, there tends to be patches of dirt/dust on the oval, and the oval turns into a massive pond after heavy rain. The council has recently replaced the old astroturf long-jump runway with a new rubber one, which has been great for local athletics groups and clubs. Other than that, the lines for all the different sporting activities that occur here tend to make the surface quite uneven.

Lots of parking, playground is suitable for a 4+yr old, toilets we're quite smelly, grounds were mostly dry after heavy rain.

2 large and some mini soccer fields.Swings, canteen and parking.

Decent little playground, very quiet though it is probably best suited for younger siblings waiting for weekend Sports. It's a bit out of the way and just had the usual playground equipment but no swings. Also basically no shade at all so it's very exposed to the elements. Nothing wrong with it but unless you live very close there's nothing special here

I’ve been here countless times. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice. It’s very large, features 3 discus and 3 shot put areas, a 400m and 100m track, a long jump pit, cricket pitches, sometimes has soccer goals, and even has a little playground for younger kids. However the oval is almost always completely taken over by large groups and they seem to have little to no respect for any other groups or anyone else using the oval. Not to mention the grass doesn’t get cut that much. It’s a nice oval and if you live near it you should certainly make use of it, however watch out for large groups and sports teams taking over the ENTIRE oval. (It’s very large, easily like two-three soccer fields but they manage to take up all of it.

Nice oval. Lovely spot. Parking for about half the cars on any event. Drainage isn't - bring a snorkel.

Excellent park with great drainage for football games, many playing fields, also kids play equipment and a lot of parking both in the car park and in the side streets.

Nice sports field for the kids soccer. There is a small play area for the little ones to climb and swing.

Oval has two overlapping cricket pitches. Has a small kids play area and also toilets a bit far. When we played cricket, the outfield was not maintained well and had few uneven areas.
