I would like to thank the ambos Sasha (sorry for wrong name and also the lady ambo) for coming so quickly to help my husband and the staff! What can I say. Georgia 3rdand dt and dt chan (again sorry for wrong names) were absolutely amazing and to offer their assistance tostore our van if my hubby had to be flown to mt isa or Townsville. Amazing service. Can't believe how far you have to go to get help in these remote areas. Thank goodness for the doctor and nurses here at Normanton Hospital. As a city dweller I wasnt aware of the struggles around obtaining medical services but maybe I should be better educated!!! More campaigning is needed. My daughter and our family thank you for your assistance - (she is showing off her cast and I can relax knowing now that she is on the mend).

We have spent all day at the hospital and hubby now must be flown to Mt Isa for further treatment. The staff especially Snr Nurse and the PM shift nurse were wonderful. We are doing the big trip so being able to receive assistance like the staff have provided is a great relief.
