A very small airport with an administration and a bar. When your flight is moved a half or 1 hour, then you get a free coupon for a soft drink.

Was very well looked after. The coffee was awesome and definitely head back out for lunch. Very friendly team & great service. The kids loved being able to watch the planes and choppers land.

Fun little airport that is the best way to get to the Whitsunday Islands. If you take a shuttle be sure to sit on the left side and look out the window as you drive away from the airport - you are sure to spot some Wallabies!

Called in on a Private Pilot Licence training trip with two students. Met at the aircraft on arrival and we were assisted with bags via cart and Ute to the operations office where a taxi was called for us. Landing fees waived as we refuelled there. Any and all assistance rendered...best FBO type of service I have come across in a long time. Well done, we'll be back again soon!

Brings back the memories, during the middle 80's I worked on Hamilton Island for 2 years. There were few times that I would fly back to mainland with Whitsundays Air. I always loved the big sharp turn heading to the airfield. Flying back to the Island always wanted to land on the water but never did cause the water was choppy. Back then the staff were great so imagine it would be the same. Thanks for some happy memories

Sweet little airport with a great little base camp coffee house. Nice surroundings and great to jump into those sceneric flights to see the GBR and the Whitsundays from above. Don't think...just do it. Absolutely must do!
