Builders Arms Hotel | Public Bar, Bistro & Private Dining Room | The Builders Bottle-O and takeaway returns. A selection of pub classics and daily specials will be available to pre-order for take-away and pick-up from the pub. We'll have the Public Bar stocked with plenty of wine for home, along with take-away cocktails & growlers of beer. We are currently accepting online bookings for Thursday 18th February onwards.

We want to gush!We loved our event with the Builders Arms Hotel.From the thoughtful touches of including our logo on the menu, a carefully planned a run sheet, to taking care of the music for us.Also did I say - a delicious shared plates dining experience.It was an effortless experience which made us ask the question - when can we come back!

We dined in the bistro and it was a lovely atmosphere, the room was full but it was a comfortable dining experience, we stayed for hours! Staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic.We shared the sourdough with cultured butter, lettuce hearts with anchovy, caesar dressing and guanciale, king prawns with curry leaf and curry butter and the cacio e pepe casarecce.I wouldn’t be able to choose a standout dish, because they were all equally delicious!The chocolate and almond torte with crème fraiche was a perfect way to finish off the meal.Already can’t wait to come back.

This was a great local pub that was bustling with people. We were able to get a table still without trouble, but there weren't many to choose from. Really nice energy in here with friendly staff. I had a cocktail that was quite well made. We didn't try the food this time.

In a world struggling to find hospitality staff it was refreshing to find a pub full of professionals.. We dropped in on Monday night to test the Builders Arms $25 steak and could not have been more impressed.. Excellent service, delicious food.. my only regret was forgetting to take photos! Looks like we'll have to go back and try more of the menu.. Yay!

really lovely time at builders time! great atmosphere and super attentive and friendly staff despite being so so busy on trivia night! had a lovely time at trivia, was really really organised well by the place, with staff answering all q's/food arriving promptly/instructions thorough etc. food was really yummy! pricey for the pub-style quality but you're paying for the atmosphere and location which is worth it! everything was tasty, anchovy toast is a must and very good for $6! first bowl of fries were cold but second piping hot!! love the order at the table system - makes everything so easy for yourself and when splitting bills. trivia did drag on a little long, from 7pm till about 9:15, would've liked it to be a bit more fast paced and exciting, and maybe with some mini prizes throughout. but otherwise, lovely, friendly, and fun night at builders arms!! oh p.s thankyou for being so accomodating wen wanting to ad 1+ pp to our table despite it being fully booked!

I come here a lot, as well as the groups other venues which are all well run and great quality.The fish and chips yesterday were good, but way too overpriced at $39 for a piece of fish and some chips. Felt pretty ripped off.Otherwise the pub i good and sitting out the front is always a nice afternoon.

As pubs go, this is a good one. The food is good, albeit expensive. This is one of Andrew McConnell’s string of restaurants. Over the years it’s had, along with the bistro, a fine dining restaurant in it, then a hipster Chinese restaurant. They’ve since knocked down the walls inside and opened it all up, and now only serve bistro pub food - which is better! The spot roasts are great. Great place for a long boozy lunch.

Been there twice now. Always very consistent. Great food and helpful staff. The staff are obviously instructed to try and up sell regarding drinks etc but that’s probably to be expected. Their system is also geared very much to having to opt out of tipping rather than opt in, however, all in all very pleasant.

We came for dinner during a fairly busy time. We didn't have a booking but we were able to get a drink and wait at the bar. It wasn't even 15 minutes before we were seated. The staff were great. So efficient and professional.The food was excellent. We ordered the steak special and I was very pleasantly surprised. It was juicy and cooked to perfection. They also gave you plenty of sauce on the side, which is essential IMO.The anchovy toast was great too. Fully recommend.
