Devine Bridal was at the top of my list when finding my wedding dress and at my first appointment found. Everyone was quite helpful and I found my dream dress and put in an order that day. The sample dress was too big at the top but fit me well everywhere else, however when I was measured they decided to order me the size down. I agreed as I thought they would know best but still a little unsure, at this point I was pretty happy. However, 5 months later when my dress arrived it was way too small for me, I could barley even zip it up and it didn't sit straight. I took it to a seamstress to see if it could be altered to fit however that was not going to be possible. I contacted the store and after some back and forth including measuring myself they determined they measured me wrong! and tried saying they would be able to fix it (the seams were nearly popping). They said they would refund me some postage cost as I lived out of town (which I never got). I had to wait an extra 8 or so weeks for a new dress to arrived. After so much stress and slightly over 1 month out from the wedding the new dress arrived just in time for alterations. Although I was super happy in the beginning and I'm grateful I got my dream dress it create way too much stress and extra cost along the way

I totally disagree with both of the reviews below. I had been to other stores in Cairns and they were nowhere near as helpful.Irene let me take photos of the dresses so I could remember what they looked like (other stores in Cairns won't let you). She was spot on when she told me which style would suit my bodyshape and she had an extensive knowledge of the designs, styles and brands of dresses that they carried in the stores in NQ. Irene even went out of her way to bring me another dress from her Tolga store that she thought I might like as it was similar to the one I wanted but was 1/2 the price.After reading these other reviews I was hesitant at going into the store but they couldn't be more wrong. I have bought my wedding dress from Devine Bridal and it is perfect as was the store and staff. Thanks
