The Point Brisbane - Hotel
Recently we travelled to Brisbane for a holiday.The first part of our journey was to stay in the beautiful inner city village area of Kangaroo Point due to its great proximity to the CBD and its sheer beauty.We stayed at the Point Brisbane Hotel and what a brilliant surprise it was.The choice of rooms was great and the cost was very competitive and great value.The rooms are very spacious and really well presented.We also discovered the first class restaurants in the Hotel in fact Lamberts recently was awarded the one of the best restaurant in Brisbane and it deserves that recognition the food is amazing.To top that off you have another spectacular restaurant nestled on top of the building The Eagles Nest. What a spectacular view of the City and the Story Bridge etc and tremendous foodAll of the Points staff are brilliant their customer service skills are second to none very helpful and obliging well done guys.Our balcony view was great and what a way to relax with a glass of wine after visiting the many wonderful places nearbyTraveling around the city was never a problem we just used the river ferries to visit all the top attractions.We will come back and stay at The Point and highly recommend this wonderful Facility

I let the team at The Point know that we were staying for my partners 25th birthday and they went above and beyond in giving us a great room and a birthday gift left on the bed, making both of us really pleased with the level of service. Fantastic facilities, friendly staff, easy access to car park and room, excellent privacy, great experience.

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff were great and helpful. Restaurant was nice.It's a bit hard to get to by foot from any train station, bus stop or ferry. Best option is definitely by taxi etc. and get dropped off at the door.Once settled though being on Kangaroo Point is great. Great views of Brisbane and with in 10-15 min walk of Holman Street ferry terminal is convenient. You can catch all the ferry's from here. Especially great is the free City Hopper.There are board walks all around the river which are great which are accessible quite easily from the hotel.

We stayed at the Point recently. The location is great. It is far enough from the city that it is quiet but close enough that you could hop on a ferry to the CBD (Note that the ferry close by is currently closed due to construction). Also nice they had free parking on site but this does fill up at night. We had a drink at the restaurant with a great view of the city. The check-in staff were also nice.Unfortunately despite the above it wasn’t a great stay. The rooms are VERY old and tired. We stayed in a balcony suite and it felt more like my college dorm room than a nice hotel. The rooms are furnished to an absolute minimum with some form of lime green faux leather couch and very basic ammenities. The bathrooms were older than my grandmother’s house and clearly have never been updated since the original build. If you’re looking for a place to sleep then fine, it was clean, but if you’re going for a nice weekend getaway then I wouldn’t stay here. We actively tried to spend as much time out of the room as possible as it just felt awful being in it.I’ve given 2 stars as the location is good and staff were nice enough but the rooms are so bad it ruins the whole experience.

Excellent customer service at Reception. Requested quiet room with river views. Room is clean, modern contemporary furnishings, soft king bed, crisp linen. Located at tranquil residential area, a few minutes walk to catch free shuttle bus within 10 minutes to CBD. Would be better to install free Foxtel service. The iconic Story Bridge is nearby, enjoying to walk along safely, taken less than an hour round trip.

We were so impressed by this hotel! Namely the staff, who went above and beyond in their service- including answering my numerous emails prior to my stay. We loved the room service- the chicken club was 10/10. Pool was great and the bed was super comfy. We will definitely be back!

Excellent stay at The Point Brisbane. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean and the service was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is quiet and residential, and not really adjacent to many services, but it's near the river on Kangaroo Point with lots of nice walking/running trails. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Located in the quiet part of Kangaroo Point, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just perfect if you want a good night sleep.However it's a bit of walk to the nearest bus station. If you need a quick departure, the hotel could arrange for a taxi.The room is cozy and clean. They also offer complimentary bottled water and lots of amenities in the room.The staff are friendly and helpful. We checked in and out with ease.

The Point Brisbane - Hotel
A potentially good hotel but not for me.The bed is way too soft l, and road noise is high from the nearby Story Bridge main road, especially in peak hours. It’s about 20 years old and so a little dated but still in good shape.On the plus side, my executive room was large, as per the booking, and the staff are above average and friendly. Car parking is also relatively easy once you find an empty spot. May consider staying again if the beds were firmer. Thank you.
