Vanilla Lounge
Went with a group of 6 for brunch . Service was very good and fast even though restaurant was pretty full. We had a booth inside and it was roomy and comfortable. The food was well presented and good eating without being great. The menu items are extensive as is the desserts and cakes on offer although we didn’t try those. Will be back again.

Custom cake purchased for our son's baptism/birthday. Great design, and delicious high quality cake.Staff member Vicki was fantastic to deal with, excellent service and helped us every step of the way.Thanks team - will definitely continue to recommend.

Bought a Red Velvet cake for family event. After having a slice each, no one wanted the second slice. Very disappointed. The cake appearance looks good, which was the reason I chose it. The cake base is far too dark in colour to consider as red and just a little better than Woolie’s defrost mud cake in taste. The top decoration is tested like cheap icing. The whole cake is too sweet in my opinion. For $55, you can get a better cake somewhere else.

This place is rated highly, and for very good reason. The moment you enter you are greeting by friendly staff and guided to a table. There is the traditional ordering system, or a QR code on the table to order if you wish.The moussaka was the perfect size and absolutely delicious. Simple ingredients, but bold flavour. Reminded me of exactly how my nan makes it, absolutely delicious.The eggs Benedict was also fantastic value for money. The eggs perfectly poached and hollandaise sauce buttery.The coffee was also excellent (as expected in Oakleigh) and the perfect temperature. I try to visit at least once ever Melbourne trip and was not disappointed at all.They offer late opening hours and cater to the after dinner dessert and coffee late at night.We would absolutely return.

When there is a line for a table, you know the restaurant is going to be good. The staff were great, so friendly! The food was amazing, loved the cocktails and the desserts were delicious. Cannot wait to go back.

This was amazing spot for after work dinner. The food was delicious and the dessert option was huge. I was very surprised with the value when I got a few choice cakes to go. Will very much be coming back in the future for the desserts alone.

Had a team outing at Vanilla and I can recommend the meat platter and seafood platter to share between 4-5 people. Dont forget to get the pistachio rolled cake to finish off the meal!

Very big and bustling restaurant in Oakleigh. The staff were great at the start. Drink a and entree came out very quick, the Halloumi chips were delicious. For mains we had the chicken and lemon potatoes and the prawn linguine with cream sauce. We couldn’t fault them so delicious. Unfortunately the 3 stars would of been 5 if a waiter would of came and offered the dessert menu. I had to go to the counter and ask then the waiter came literally straight away when not given a chance to look and never returned. We were there 90 mins after eating our main course with no more offering of drinks or desserts and couldn’t even wave down a waiter. It was very busy but there didn’t seem to be a system in place.

Amazing range of cakes/ sweets available. Food was nice and service was good. Our booth was comfy.Sadly nearby parking is terrible - I could only get 1 hr parking and had to keep moving my car before giving up and heading home early. Also, no split bills which we didn't realise and saw no signs for.
