Born to Boogie Dance Connection - dance classes for adults

Having danced from a young age, I found it hard to find a dance school I enjoyed as an adult that had performances. Once I came across born to boogie though I had instantly found my new dance family. I love the loving community of it, the new friends I’ve made along the way as well as being able to perform on stage and entertain, which is truly what I love to do. Whether you’ve never danced or are a veteran, young or old, don’t question it and come join in the fun

The feeling I got from performing on stage for the first time was similar to the feeling I had after giving birth to my son and holding him in my arms. I felt like I was some sort of a superhuman able to do anything, because I conquered my biggest fear. I had so much fun (dancing I mean, not giving birth :) and I was floating on happy clouds. The confidence boost is beyond words. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!!

Amazingly fun way to exercise both your body and your brain! All the Born to Boogie teachers are incredible and the performance night has such a great vibe. Tenille and her teachers should be very proud of what they have created! Don't hesitate! Get out of your comfort zone! :)

It is a great place to do what you love, in a fun way and meet other members of your own community. Born to boogie dance connection is not only a dance class space, it is a fun way of socialising and challenging your brain and your body to do something completely different and out of your comfort zone!

I just loved the whole experience at B2B. I met so many amazing ladies and learned something new while having fun and gaining confidence. Cant wait for next term!!

Such an uplifting, supportive and positive environment to dance in, coupled with a whole lot of fun! The adrenaline experienced on performance night is incredible. Having never danced on stage before or danced in formal classes, I decided to challenge myself and joined the 13 week Richmond class. What resulted was life long friends, an immense sense of achievement for getting through choreography that I never thought I could do and an opportunity to express and share creative ideas on costumes and makeup for performance night. The support and love received throughout the courses from the founder Tennille, dance teacher Martina and my fellow Born to Boogie dancers has made me come back semester after semester. So many precious memories formed, I'm so glad I found Born to Boogie.

Thank you to Tennille and all the teachers for creating Born to Boogie, such a fantastic concept. The classes are great fun, the night entertaining and I can’t wait to do it all again. The night has such a positive vibe for dancers and guests.

I had no idea what to expect when I first joined the Boogie gang. I have always enjoyed attending classes, so no worries there. But the big performance night loomed ahead. Would we be stage ready? Was I inviting people to watch a bunch of lame amateurs embarrass themselves? I needn't have worried. The whole experience was super professional with a fabulous level of dance performances. My friends and family who came to watch were totally impressed and I felt like a star! Can't wait to find out what my amazing teacher (Lucy) has in store for us this term.

I have taken part in 2 Semesters of Born To Boogie. Unfortunately due to an accident I was unable to perform the second semestr last year. My teacher Megan makes everyone feel they are contributing in their own way. 2019 was the year for me to break out of my comfort zone and I have definitely done that with Born to Boogie. Tennille is so easy to talk to and she makes herself available to answer any questions. I am 55 years old and certainly don't have a dancers body but that does come into it it at Born to Boogie. It is so you can have fun and learn dance routines along the way. I look forward to every class and hadn't missed one. It take a broken wrist to stop me. If you love to dance this is for you
