La Boulangerie

Not many times that I bother to post a review but this one really blew my mind so it had to be done!La Boulangerie has a lot going on for it - a small business with a wide range of choices… that’s usually a recipe for disaster but somehow they are able to maintain an insane level of finesse and balance in both their pastries and savoury options! My partner and I had now been going to la boulangerie regularly for the bread, that was the hook for us. Then we explored the Macarons, followed by the croquembo and more… needless to say it was love after love after love! So much soo, that when my now wife and I decided to tie the knot we only had one supplier in mind… LA BOULANGERIE! We met with the owner of the business, Marie, and went for our 3 favourite things! The croquembouche tower as our wedding cake accompanied by another tower of Macarons for the desert table and finally a collection of baguettes to do our expensive cheeses justice!!Now we are 3 days after the wedding and still, our guests are raving on about the cake and the macarons AND the bread! Haha! A bloody success it was!! I reckon that’s 91 new customers for La Boulangerie! @Marie thank you sooo much for everything you did for us in the planning process - the level of service you provided was second to none!! You made the process so smooth from the catalogue choosing to the delivery the day of guaranteed freshness!We’ll see you on our usual bread runs very soon!

I eat here every week. The bread is the best in Sydney, real French bread and the cakes are something else, the lemon meringue tart and vanilla slice are the best I've had. Everything else I've had has been awesome as well, but too many things to list. Love the new pies

Absolutely fantastic. Totally perplexed as to why they run out of baguettes very early every day though. Why not just make more if you run out every single day?? Incredibly frustrating. Delicious though

Poor service, petite pastries weren't packed with enough care. When I went and spoke to them about how all the petite pastries had fallen on-top of each other and were no longer fit to take as part of a gift they said I should've taken more care....as if I didn't!!! Then not to listen to a suggestion I made for future protection of said delicacies I was treated with a nonchalant dismissive manner. Buyer beware!

One of the best bakery in sydney! I enjoy the small croissants almond and the ham and cheese quish!!

The best bread in Sydney!! Especially their sourdough baguette!! This little bakery does all the sweets too.. you cant miss it as you walk up the escalator into pacific square from the carpark you will be able to smell the goodness right away! Love your work!
