I recently had to pick up some goods that were left by my recently deceased Uncle’s, cheating ex-partner, who used this law firm.I found the staff to be incredibly rude. The first lady I spoke to didn’t even bother to return to let me know what was going on!!!!Since there were a few boxes to collect, I actually thought that someone would offer to help me take them to my car (their office is on the first floor). But no, I had to traipse back and forth myself, despite the fact that there were people in the office, they weren’t busy and no phones were ringing!!!!I guess that none of them were raised with good manners!!!Based on that experience, I feel that it is an indication of what type of service one would receive from this firm.Thank goodness they are not my lawyers!!!!

I have used Hughes Legal many times over the years and every time the service has been exceptional. Nothing is to hard and everything is taken care of with little fuss. The staff are very easy to deal with and very professional. In life you have to make many decisions and when it comes to Legal decisions don't make the wrong one make sure you choose Hughes Legal.

Very disappointed as I had an appointment for a will which was cancelled due to the solicitor being sick. Not good when I travelled from Drysdale to Ascot Vale for the appointment and told afterwards when it was too late and I was in Melbourne with the widow. I then had to reschedule around solictor's annual leave and now told after making second appointment that this has been cancelled and an appointment not available until January 2023. Very unprofessional.

Never could I believe that a legal practice could be so unprofessional.I engaged in Hughes Legal (Chris Hughes) to represent me against a serious online bullying case. I had received the final letter from Chris however was told they had no way in contacting the defendant. I then sent the letter to her myself through Instagram. From here, Hughes Legal answered phone calls from the defendant denying they ever represented me. I have since received screenshots from Chris' brother (whom i've never met) engaging in private conversations on social media with the defendant talking horribly about me. I couldn't recommend a more unprofessional firm. They then had the audacity to INVOICE ME for the letter they denied writing in the first place. Absolutely disgusting. Do yourself a favour and find another law firm to represent you.

Sadly I cannot recommend this firm.While it is only my own experience I can comment on, I am feeling quite let down by the staff.Perhaps I am being unreasonable to expect a call to be returned in under an hour?I'm sure when I get the call I'll be charged for it.....

Not interested in doing anything that requires minimal work only court cases that pay well would never recommend them to anyone

Worst to deal with, I felt they didn’t want to help at all. Definitely don’t recommend.
