Friendly and great service. Richard is very knowledgeable and professional. These guys are the go to workshop if you’re having transmission issues.

What the rest of the entire automotive industry knows about auto transmissions, Richard knows in his little finger. He is the godfather of the automatic transmission.

Can be a bit tricky to get in as they're always busy, but Richard and the team is as honest as they come. Been bringing my various cars here for probably 8 years now and know they'll do exactly as they say - including sending me on my way at no charge once for a very simple fix. Last I was in they identified a piece missing from the oil filter housing on the used car I'd just bought, ordered one in and fixed it instead of just ignoring it which may have lead to trouble later. Much appreciated!

Extremely good service. Went to Ringwood automatics for a second opinion and he fixed the car for $3000 less compared to another quote I got. He knew exactly what was wrong with the transmission, whereas another mechanic told me that we could try this and if it doesn't work then try that...Highly recommend Ringwood Automatics.

Had a faulty torque converter replaced on the car here. Very happy with the whole process from the initial phone call to getting the keys to the car back. Highly recommend Ringwood Automatics.

That have a good reputation but I think far to expensive just my opinion

Myself and a colleague and friend of mine went here, they performed what I believe would be considered unsolicited work, for what was originally advised would be covered by the warranty company. Missed their own deadline (completion dates they gave). After all that the car's issue wasn't even resolved, and when I questioned them on these charges and prices for unsolicited work, they actually had someone try to physically intimidate me.Probably one of the poorest levels of work I've ever seen at a place claiming to be a professional automotive repairer. Any establishment that makes it common practice enough to have someone there for the purpose of intimidation/security" is obviously doing something wrong.I would advise people stay clear of this establishment."
