Todd Tavern

Pub was empty on the restaurant side, but we received excellent service by the two young staff members. We had fish of the week special, it was delicious. Sauce was amazing. 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Alice Springs' hidden treasure.

Food was decent. Decent size portions but some was very lack luster and ever so tiny. Had the chicken schnitzel and it had a very fishy taste. If you eat inside its all good but outside YOU WILL BE bothered and harassed by intoxicated indigenous as there is a bar attached to this location, they will be humbugging you for alcohol and smokes. Advise not to dine outside! Inside is clean and contemporary. Staff were excellent and courteous. Overall was a decent meal but i don't see myself ever going back

Food was great. No gluten or dairy free options. Nice a quite inside and beautiful cool and refreshing place to sit. Chairs comfortable to sit on. Service was great.

Went for schnitzel night got a big schnitzel and lots of chips! Salad bar was great nice and fresh. Keen to try roast night now!

Arrived first time in town wednesday 14/9/22and began to look for a good local pub, I entered the todd tavern with a pull bag on wheels m, there were a few people there and as I browsed to see if they had had sports bar I was approached by security he asked me what it was doing there bemused I replied why, he then asked me for photo I.d (I.m in my 50,s) I asked why and was this common practice, then he asked me what's in my bag and under the pretence that I might have alcohol in it, I opened the bag to reassure him.Anyway found a less stand over pub, just walked in ordered a beer and lunch...Uncles taverrn

A lovely cosy clean and spacious restaurant. The pizza is one of the best we've had, my son said the chicken schnitzel was absolutely delicious, and was house made. My Husband ordered a medium rare steak and it was closer to rare so he couldn't finish it, but that won't affect us going back. Great friendly place and well priced.

Called them on Sunday if they're serving food after 3pm, the answer was yes, then drove there 5 minutes later to have a late lunch just to be told sorry the kitchen is closed". Shame."

Had a beer and lunch here on a lovely sunny autumn day in Alice Springs. I chose the Green Chicken curry, which was a special. It was a generous serve and the chicken was cooked well, very tender. It just seemed like it was missing something in the sauce. It tasted a bit bland and watery, although entirely edible. Was just hoping for something a little more I guess. Maybe next time, there are lots of things on the new menu that look/sound appealing

I love the Todd, food is good, staff are good, it’s an iconic pub and a must visit. Even the public bar is interesting, just be prepared!
