Kangaroo Point
We decided to check out Kangaroo Point on the way up to Kalbarri and was greeted by a flock of Emus. I think a name change to Emu Point is in order here :). It is a nice place to check out the local wildlife and do some swimming and snorkeling, however there is a lot of seaweed which may put some people off. There is good access and parking and a BBQ to cook some burgers and snags whilst you check out the sunset, but check the roof space for spiders. We had to clear some big ones!

Nice little spot to pull over and have a look around and a leg stretch on our roadtrip. We saw a small kangaroo! The beach was pretty well covered in seaweed, but still nice. I’d recommend stopping by if you’re not in a rush. Saw a little baby snake as well (be careful). Nice weather (late September) although a little windy. The toilet is alright - I was just happy they had one. It’s a nice loop in drive through so you can’t really get lost going in there. They had a barbecue area and picnic tables.

Great spot for a bbq and some photos. The fishing and snorkeling is also good just try get down early to avoid to much wind. Also good spot for some wild life spotting. Just be mindful but not scared of the seaweed it won’t kill ya just can be a little how ya going you feel me

A short distance from the highway is a decent carpark, with toilets, a shaded table & free BBQ, plus beach access only 50m from the carpark.

Very corrugated gravel road in shook fuse box cover off. And lost radio and Bluetooth etc in Pajero. (Expensive fix). So take it easy going in. BBQ, Shelter, Toilet. Beach close by and was quite nice on the day..bit of seaweed up high and blue bottle jellyfish seen on beach at Hangover and Ranger said there had been more up here too.
