We did the 4 night stay to try and get some help with our 4 week old who was so unsettled and howling pretty much every waking moment. With the exception of one surly and cold one, the nurses were so amazing. Their guidance, support and tips were gentle and knowledgable. We received really good tips and advice and having continued what we learned once we got home, have seen a positive change in our bub which has made such a positive change to our parenting journey. I cant recommend them enough.

Did a residential stay with my 7 month old who was waking hourly over night. Her nighttime waking improved a lot in the 5 days. The nurses were very supportive and lovely. While a bit apprehensive in going I am so glad I did. It was a life changer. Their approach is very gentle with no crying it out.The food is average but not too bad and still better than having to prepare and cook your own, plus there is a yummy cafe close by. The baby food was prepared to what stage they were at and had good variety. They have a GP check for mum, paediatrician for Bub, and psychologist all available. If you’re unsure about going in for a stay I highly recommend it. I wish I went in soonerThank you tresillian

Stayed at Tresillian Nepean Aug 2022 with my 6 month old and 24 month old. Had an excellent experience there and found that staff were very supportive and helpful. It was amazing to not have to worry about providing food or house chores for the time we were there! We went for numerous wake ups overnight, to stop cosleeping and poor day naps (6 month old). We stayed 4 nights and we were starting to see longer blocks of sleep by the last day - had to continue working on it at home but we were told we could use the same referral to come back if we needed to. Cosleeping was against the rules there for safety reasons so they helped us in the transition - first night was definitely the hardest but nurses helped a lot when I was exhausted. We used responsive settling and had relaxing music playing. We had two rooms because we had two children and they recommend taking a support person if you have 2 kids.Temperature was set to 23*C inside, so didn't need to have super warm sleep things for the kids. They do have a child size toilet if you have a toddler that is potty training. My 2 year old was provided with a toddler bed with sheets, blanket and pillow.Food was provided - breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks (cheese & biscuits, yogurts, fruit etc). They even had a combination of pureed food and baby led weaning style food for my 6 month old. There was also a communal fridge if you wanted to buy extra food they didn't have (eg berries).Facilities were a bit older but we weren't expecting luxury! It was comfortable and clean.

No professionalism in serviceWent on September 2022 . None of the staff come to you as professional manner to talk with parent. They just grab you on your way to corridor to fill their paper work . I felt like there is no privacy for your child issues , they just grab you when you come out from your room and ask to give them answers to fill their daily paper work. Staff most of the time sitting on sofa and having their personal chat, when you walk through that area they just ask for hows our day and start advising you in front of other parents by breaking parent and child privacy of concern. My room was in front of their sitting area so observed them a lot just sitting and chatting. They didn’t come single time in my room to ask hows mom and bub feeling and what is working and what is not. They did not come single time to observe my child’s formal intake or drinking pattern , I have to ask them to come and observe my child meal in kitchen dining area so I can understand where My child and I need help to improve food intake , they observe only 5min and no feedback from that observation.I am breastfeeding mom and day second lunch and dinner both time there were no options of food for vegetarian meal ( I mentioned in enrolment) they offered me frozen meal after I raise my concern during dinner time . Next day I bought my own food .Also room condition They gave me room which has big 1miter of area of wet carpet, I reported them because my crawling bub. Second day it was still wet and found 1 bug and raise my concern, no action taken by staff they just bring vacuum and clean it and said we can’t do anything of this wet carpet , no curtesy to offer change of room.I just spent extra day because i checked in Saturday afternoon and was giving them time to observe my child but no one came Sunday and finally I decided to leave on Monday.

Most of the parents comes to Tresillian for fixing babies’ sleep. All kids are seen by a paediatrician, moms seen by a GP and optional psychologist. It’s 3h questionnaire on arrival, and quick guide into children’s sleep and Tresillian methods to fix it. We learned how to respond to baby’s cry, taught him how to fall asleep in a cot. Nurses were very helpful though sometimes they gave me mixed information. Facilities is outdated, it’s only 20 rooms, food is typical hospital, some snacks and teas are available.

If I could give this service/ place less than 1 star I would. They keep you there like a prisoner. They took my baby from me and a nurse told me it was my baby crying and I couldn't see him. Just to make me feel bad. There was another mum crying in there saying staff recommend she gave her baby away for adoption but she didn't want to.Staff gave you different advice every night (including baby sleeping on stomach)I questioned the next night nurse on this and she said this was NOT recom but all people have different ways of doing things. The next night nurse gave me a completely different method. When I asked why it different every night they told me it's because they want me to learn all different was so I can make my own at home. I said this is the whole reason I came here. I don't want to learn many different ways, we need help with routine. I didn't want to stay however they won't let you leave before your 5 days is up.When I returned home I felt like ot was the biggest waste of time. None of their methods were helpful. So if you want to be avoid feeling, inadequate and more confused than ever than I would avoid this place.

The worst place to spend time, no good support, they just care about paperwork and forms to tick the boxes and just have a few strategies to give just like written in a book!!!I asked the nurses to watch my baby for few minutes early morning as I couldn't open the eyes with sleepless nights there and they say they can't!!At the beginning they took my baby's medicine from me to put in their fridge and for leaving they got the key back and forgot to return it and we had to drive long way back to get it as they said they won't send it!!!My 6 month old baby was waking every hour at night and do cat napping and they couldn't help to make it better at all!!!All in all I will never ever go back to them and won't recommend if you will stay there as a single parent with no other support you'll be 24 hours tired and awake with no support.

I stayed at Tresillian in June 2022 with my then 9 month old baby as a first time mum, my baby had been waking overnight every hour since birth and BF'ing back to sleep / co-sleeping. I felt like a shell of my prior self and hadn't had a proper sleep since birth. Tresillian was the best thing for us, I felt very supported and there was one nurse Mel, who was an angel to us. She remembered our names from the first shift, she would check up on us often and was so kind, compassionate and reassuring. The relief I had not having to cook, clean, do normal day to day tasks for a few days was enormous at what I felt was breaking point. Also, being able to spend time with other mums going through the same thing as me, it made me feel less alone. There were also daily activities for the mums but I also learnt about baby cues and interacting with bub. Baby sleeps in a separate area to the main room. As an FYI, no baby monitors can be used and you get a parking permit to park free on site (limited number of spots). After we left, my baby was no longer feeding to sleep and although it has been a very long journey, she is 18 months now and mostly sleeps through the night (we still have trouble getting her to sleep though). I want to make it clear that there was no cry it out method used the entire time we were there, I was always sitting at the cot supporting my baby to sleep, there were tears but I was allowed to pick up my baby and comfort her when needed. The cots looked like little jail cells but wow they were very comfortable for parents to sit at to get baby to sleep, they were up high and the bars were wide enough to get your arm through to pat baby to sleep. The food was ordinary hospital food but you can help yourself to snacks and toast throughout the day or you can leave the facility at any time and get some food out. Unfortunately the facility is run down and if the government would put some money towards updating it, it would be greatly appreciated for the families that come for support. Lastly, I felt that there was a lot of unnecessary paperwork, sometimes it seemed that staff were filling out forms for no reason but to just tick some boxes.

Absolutely a joke of a place, we went to get our son off comfort feeding to sleep, first our check in time gets pushed back and hour, second check in takes 3hrs but dinner is between 5-6 for a hot meal. Food is barely eatable, my son didn't eat the food and he is on solids that should say something, the staff only have 3 techniques in calming a baby and when asked do they have any other techniques its no and when the nurses take your baby to prove their point only last 15 min and then tap out cause they can't handle it, they have no training on breastfeeding babies only formula babies, place is so behind in time single beds that your feet hang over, my son come back worse then what he went there. You go to these places for help but when staff are not trained and accommodation is so far back in the 80s it's unbelievable. Nurses are not willing to help half the time happy to talk between themselves in the lounge area, but when asking for help get nothing at all. Spent 4 nights there hoping to get some help but it was a waste of my time and to have my son come back worse is atrocious. Highly do not recommend this facility
