In a great location in the Sydney CBD and situated near Martin Place, this venue offers pub style food and drinks at a competitive prices in a relaxed atmosphere. The venue is well planned out with ample space to cater for large crowds and decorated with plants. The decor also has a welcoming feel to it and is not too cluttered.This venue gets busy during lunch times and has a great vibe to it. Service was really good from friendly staff and the menu catered for all types of dietary restrictions.There was no issues with waiting very long for service at the bar, with large crowds being catered for quite well.Definately worth the visit if you're in the city!

8 of us came here for a team lunch, and I can't fault the place! It's a lovely space, not too loud but still buzzing with clean seats and tables. The food was really good - hot and tasty, and the service was exceptionally quick and friendly staff to boot. You must come along!

Situated near Martin Place, this venue offers pub style food and drinks at a competitive price. The venue is decked with plants and great decor. It gets busy during lunch times and has a great vibe to it. Highly recommended!

My daughter and her partner celebrated their wedding reception at Verandah Bar. It was the perfect venue from the decor, to the amazing staff and delicious food. Sian was very welcoming and hospitable. Emily was amazing to deal with and all of the team that night were excellent, making the night such a success. The quality of the food was exceptional and plentiful - many of our family and friends raved about the food and the venue itself. Thanks to Verandah Bar entire team for making it such a memorable time for everyone.Angela

Nice tacos (southern chicken), crunchy chicken, slightly spicy, warm tacos, fresh vegetables, nice presentation...Easy to order, scan through the bar code and pay... The food delivered to you.However if you order the food at the counter, you have to pick it up by yourself.

Booked a few tables here for a few after work drinks with colleagues. Arriving after 5pm we found the venue already quite lively.Opened a bar tab and using a swipe card we were able to order rounds of drinks and order food easily.Bar staff are quick on the drinks and helpful with the menu.We ordered a few finger foods for the group of 12 e.g. pizzas, fries, chicken wings, etc. It was a very reasonable wait time and all the food was happily enjoyed by all.We remained at the bar after our table booking and had a great night.

Disappointing visit to Verandah bar with a party of 8 work colleagues. Ordered food and drink at the bar and the bartender walked away without serving my drink. Post mix coke was totally flat ($4.50). Food service was fast, although one person's meal came well after the others. Cheeseburger and chips ($19) is one of the cheaper options on the menu. Huge portion of shoe string fries but they were stone cold when picked up from the kitchen. Burger patty had a nice char to it, but the mince patty was cooked very medium - would be good to specify this on the menu. Nasi goreng was bland and uninspiring. Marks are for spacious seating, ability to hear each other talk and fast service for groups... but food could be better. Order at bar and pay in cash to avoid unnecessary card surchages.
