I ordered a medium rare steak and a Coke Zero. My steak looked like beef jerky and was well done +++ and my Coke Zero was a sparkling water. Absolutely terrible

Brief over night stop in West Wyalong and dinner at the Royal. Was blown away by the quality of the meal and its value for money. I’ve almost never had steak that tender and my daughters halloumi veggie stack was beautifully presented and she loved it. Every element of the meal was perfect and the wine lovely. Great service also. Utterly professional! Wish this place was in my home town!

Dropped in for lunch on New Years Day, had probably the best steak sandwich I've ever experienced, very tender meat, nicely toasted bread and tasty but not dripping sauce. Chips were very nice too.

This place would be the second place that I wouldn't even bother entering as my partner and I were once again denied entry. Exactly the same scenario as with the Metropolitan which is also on the main street. The doors were locked!?!We were told the place is closed but how can a place be close when 2 sober people, being us can see with our own eyes that they are STILL SERVING alcohol and the place is filled with people who seem to have a great time in each other's company while my poor bladder is at Max capacity by now.As I mentioned in my previous review, any day of the week I would spend my money at the pub across from Shell!Customer service %200Food %200Staff interacting with locals AND visitors %200.

Nice pub, we went with a group of about 10 and didn't order till around 715, food took around an hr to come out and the pub was super busy. Staff where really friendly and even were bringing out beers for us to the table.I had a session steak with veg and salad it was $38. Over all very well cooked, asked for rare, it was rare unlike other pubs that tend to cook rare in the medium side. Veggies were cooked perfectly with some good char on them. Salad was dressed well and large as well.Definitely will be back! Some other lads had snitties and parmies and they were impressed too. The lamb rack as also a standout!

What a beautiful pub. Room 2 is just lovely and just what we needed to break our drive up, and to just walk downstairs to a perfect dinner and drinks was fantastic. Lovely staff showed us our room and parking. Well worth a visit. Thankyou.

Enjoyed lunch with a large group of friends. Waitress Melanie and waiter Liam served drinks promptly and meals were served together. Table water topped up without having to be asked for. Plates were taken away in a polite professional manner. It made for a very pleasant lunch. Meals were hot and delicious. Highly recommend.

Very boutique hotel feel. More than we expected for passing through the town. The food at the bar was really quite good. The staff were lovely and the room was much sweeter than I expected.Only 1 negative, the hallways lights aren't shut off at night and there was no blind or anything for the window above the room door. I had a face mask, so it didn't bother me, but it does not allow for darkness sleeping.Otherwise, really cute place & would recommend. And the Cafe next door was a great place to grab a coffee & pastry in the morning and get back on the road!

We had an excellent night at The Royal Hotel during our recent stopover in West Wyalong. The food was brilliant, especially the steak sandwich! Topped off with a few excellent pints of Guinness. Very friendly staff working in The Royal and the bedroom/en-suite was spot on!
