My partner and I just had a lovely experience. We were very lucky to chat with Michael - he made us feel very welcome. Michael explained the fascinating history of the site, and his journey in starting this business. He is very skilled in not only making mead, but also in brewing craft beer. I am an avid craft brew enthusiast, and what I tried today was nothing short of spectacular. If you have time, I suggest you drop in and do take the time to listen to the history and stories of the place - very fascinating. Hats off to you Michael & Maryanne.

Lovely place, lovely atmosphere, food is great and so is their beer. However for a place named a Meadery my friends and I who are great fans of mead, together tried the 5 piece mead tasting board, but were quite surprised that the mead itself was pretty sub-par, I'm unsure if the meads meads were too young or what the story is, but I wouldn't drink it again. I don't like leaving negative reviews so I will finish saying that would absolutely go there again for the food and definitely for the beer.

If you haven't tried mead before this is the place to make it your first first. I quite enjoyed the mead flight I had for tasting and it went very well with the food. The Chandlers Pizza is superb!!

Amazing pizzas! I went with a few people and tried many different ones and they were all good. Well worth the drive from Canberra.

It doesn’t get much better than this! Lunch enjoyed at Wins Creek Meadery. A stunning old travellers inn, the inside is incredibly interesting and takes you back in time. While outside is a beautiful almost secret garden, where we enjoyed an amazing pizza, a glass of mead and a mulled mead too! Delicious

The honey here are really good and I believe that is their speciality. The pumpkin soup and pizza are average. I wouldn't recommend the Carniolan Pizza - although different from standard pizzas as they have avocado, slow roasted beef, tomatoes and sour cream, the combination just didn't make a great tasting pizza. I've had much better pumpkin soup elsewhere and home made was also better. Yours truly @fooderarri

Excellent craft brews using honey. Friendly and helpful with expert knowledge. Have a tasting panel or take some bottles home. Enjoy the indoor (and safe) bee hive.

An old cottage perhaps? beautifully turned into an adventurous bee/honey tribute! Check out the stylish homemade style coffee cups and unique honey products that certainly are a great gift.Ample sitting areas and a cosy homely feel. We were served by a friendly young lady who was super helpful in guiding us with our drinks.Great experience and went home with a jar of honey !

Very quaint and picturesque family business and restaurant! Absolutely adored the outdoor sitting with all the fresh-bloomed flowers and manicured gardens. The pizza, in particular the gf pizza, was DELICIOUS, especially paired with their old drone ginger beer on a warm spring day. The prices weren't too expensive either, and I suppose my only 'complaint' was that it's not closer to Canberra, otherwise I'd go every fortnight!I would suggest that the meadery updates their website design, as it's a little outdated and hard to navigate. Particularly finding their updated menus that would list all their food and drinks would be a great addition to the website, with clear links to their Facebook and Instagram pages :) Although not entirely necessary, I think having the option to make online bookings could be a great addition to the site too, for those who might otherwise not be able to communicate verbally or have sound hearing.Very keen to try their cheeses and mulled mead next time around!!
