Salvos Stores Mount Waverley

Seems like a new concept of salvos store where you can buy second hand Target, Kmart, Shein and Wish items at a premium! Faded jacket for $45 top for 25 :) Doll house 65

For second hand RECENT books this is a great shop, look at paying around $5. Their book section is small but ordered by name so it's not a jumble, especially if you are looking for a particular author.

Currently the prices are just too high in this Salvo shop and have been increasing for many years. High staff turnover as well. I have bought some decent items in the past but now visit a lot less as the books, paintings and bric a brac are valued way too high. I think it’s time to get some better more realistic Valuers in to help out. Also they are getting picky about receiving very good donations so I take them elsewhere now.

used to be really good but got really expensive, would go more often but cant buy much with second hand tee shirts costing nearly 15 dollars

I had a lovely experience today shopping at Salvos Mt Waverley. Thank you Sue and Sapna for your warm and fun energy!For the previous comments on pricing: i think it's very reasonable it's a charity but they still need to pay for staff etc. It's still a fraction of what you might pay for retail.

This opportunity shop is a pleasure to visit. The current manager Sapna is a most well-presented and friendly lady who demonstrates a genuine desire to present this shop in a manner that generates a sense of excitement and anticipation for buyers with varied and unusual interests. The shop is neat and tidy, and invariably portrays staff members working diligently to ensure necessary item turnover, variety of stock and excellent presentation. In these times where customer service, friendliness and professionalism are becoming more difficult to experience, the Salvos Mount Waverley is a ‘breath of fresh air’ for the shopper desiring a browse with attendant anticipation of a great bargain!

Intimated by shop personnel ,same blond hair lady might I add. Worse experience ever ! Feel extremely uncomfortable so disappointed!

Was so disappointed that the shop was actually closed on Sunday when it said it is open on Sunday till 3pm on the Google map.

Pleasantly surprised I haven’t been in the store for a while it’s had a lovely makeover, prices are reasonable, great service from the manager Sapna.and Siew Worth a visit .

The prices are so hight for an op shop. Have no idea who prices them. I love to support the op shops but why would I pay the amount you are asking for an item when I can get brand new items of the same at the normal shops. Some of the other Salvation Army stores are not that bad at pricing.
