Nando's Calamvale
Never thought I'd say I've had a bad experience at Nandos but Nandos Calamvale has done that. A couple of times I have made orders for delivery and the wrong stuff was in my order so I had to drive there in the end. I then did an order for pick up a few weeks back and when I got there, my order wasn't even ready on time so I had to join the queue that was waiting for orders long after my order had been made. The most recent 2 times I clearly stated no cheese and there was cheese in my burger and today I got a miniature chicken piece for my burger. Definitely not going back to Nandos calamvale. Please do better for those customers that choose to still trust you with ordering their meals from you.

I ordered takeaway with chips and ribs for lunch today under the name of Chris Hemsworth because why not, but I will tell you if chris had lunch there he would’ve been disappointed because, after I ordered it I was told on the website that it was going to ready at 1:30pm however when I got there i got told in person that it was 10 minutes longer than what I was told online due to them microwaving ribs, however that didn’t help the wait because it then took over 20 mins for them to cook and finish up my order, like c’mon guys my store bought rice cooks faster than you guys like go faster next time you dorks, alright moving on I finally then got my order served to me, after that I head off back to work where I had my lunch with my mum and I will tell you the lunch I had was very underwhelming because the chips were soggy and also adding in, the ribs were burnt with no barbecue sauce added into the ribs despite me telling them to barbecue sauce on all of the ribs, and the ribs also had barely any flavour on my mums side of 8 ribs that I got for her.very disappointing we won’t be coming back.

Arrived at 8.45, 1 and a quarter hours before closing time only to see the staff cleaning up and stacking chairs on tables. But they were still open. After 30 minutes of waiting I finally enquired about my order. Oh yes it's ready, they said. No apology offered. But the order was wrong and I took it back. They rectified the problem but no apology offered. The chicken was tasty but the sauce was mostly salty thickened water with about 1% chilli. When I left, I looked to the staff for acknowledgement. Nothing offered

After purchasing from nandos Calamvale for many years, the last few time have been really disappointing in quality. Dry chicken. Gross chips that weren’t fresh. After months I decided to try again with nandos being a family favourite of ours. Went in to order and ordered over the app as requested. One of our 4 meals was a 1/4 check meal, requesting the leg portion on the app. The meal came out with the wrong sides and a wing portion. I advised the waiter that it was incorrect who went in turn to speak to the manager. The manager rejected our request and said this was not noted on our receipt, knowing fully that I had requested this purposely. The manager then refused and said they do not waste food and said would not give a refund. I’ve now complained directly to nandos and am writing this review because I think it’s really poor service coming from a manager of a busy restaurant. Spending over a $100 worth of food and refusing to give the correct order. I’ve walked out the restaurant leaving all the ordered food on the table which is sad that it will go to waste. Complaints have been made against the manager Erica and will be taken further should this situation not be resolved accordingly. Stay away from this restaurant as they have drastically gone down in customer service and food quality. I will not be going to this restaurant again after being a loyal customer for multiple years.

So just came from Nando’s Calamvale after spending $70 on food. Chicken was overcooked and dry and stringy. Paella was smothered with onions and hardly any chicken. Was there on the 10th and the chicken was amazing, different guy on the grilled. Nando’s please remove the guy from the grill that’s on tonight LOL

There were three people behind the counter, seemed too busy for service. That’s why they’re not worthy of 5 stars. More focused on take away with Uber drivers. What ever happened to attention to customers IN store. The food was delicious though, except too much spinach in the salad.

Terrible experience from Nando’s Calamvale. I asked for tomato sauce and she said there is some at the sauce stand. I let her know there isn’t any sauce in the bottles (hence why I was asking) and she said “I can see from here”. Here attached is the sauce bottle with “sauce” . It’s not about this small issue. It’s about the attitude you give to customers, i was genuine and kind and clearly she looked like she didn’t want to speak to me or other customers well enough from where I was sitting. Good luck with the business

So I placed an order of at 5pm for a pick up at 6:15pm. Got my food at exactly 7:15pm! Approached to the lady at serving section a few times about my order and all I had was to be patient because they were busy. I would have finished my meal in a fine dining restaurant by then! If not the grill guy behind the counter noticed that Id waited for more than an hr I could have ended up waiting there for another hour maybe?Nando’s should know the purpose of timely orders have the priority to be made punctually. Having a customer waited for more than an hr for a scheduled order that’s just beyond ridiculous.“Skip the queue” slogan if order online?!J O K E !!!Oh, and thanks for ruining my 3yo kids party.
