It's an absolutely huge dam. Worth spending time thwre on your journey. Easy access from the road but easy to miss the turn off.

Pleasant place to stop on your journey. A couple of young females used it for free camping the night before we visited, but there are no facilities for that.Great spot for a short drone flight, out of the way and attractive.

Very cold, at only 1 degree(around 3pm), bit of history with information about the original Dam and further upgrades that could be seen. Walk up to the Memorial was only short and ground had snow cover from previous day!
