Baker and Baker Salts

I wrote 3 emails was told I would be given the tracking number with no response. After a few days with no response I opened a case threw pay pal. The communication is terrible & their response was even worse. Going to pls e an order now for a birthday in 2 weeks let’s see how that goes.

This afternoon I had some time to kill, and an empty belly to fill. An a-frame sign offered me a Reuben sandwich in the Belgrave Arcade, Baker and Baker Salts.Entering the shop I'm greeted by the proprietor who quickly identifies my need, and while it's being prepared I'm perusing shelves of Gippsland honey, dukka of flavours I've not thought existed (rose and macadamia) and of course, salts and pepper blends.Soon I'm handed a box with a toasted sandwich and the first bite explodes on my tongue. A tangy sauerkraut with fine ribbons melted into the cheese, layered over corned beef pastrami.This is my new favourite sandwich in Melbourne.

I placed my order on the 8th of October for 2 different types of salt. 7 days later I still Haven’t received the order so I called to see where the order was. I was told that it was sent and I would be notified about the tracking for the order. It’s now 14 days since I’ve placed my order and still haven’t received it.

Purchased Black salt and premium grinder.Arrived in good time frame and good condition.Happy with purchase will use company to purchase again.

Placed an order Jan 14 and have paid the invoice.Sent 3 follow up emails to Brendan and still nothing recieved, no courier, no tracking , nothing .Will be asking for a refund and reporting to ACCC.*EDIT: BRENDAN, READ MY EMAIL, I WOULD A REFUND ASAP. I DONT KNOW HOW MANY MORE EXCUSES YOU CAN COME UP WITH, AND YOU CANT AVOID THIS EITHER. REFUND ME TODAY PLEASE

UPDATE: 12 Oct 2022Still no salts in the post (Very questionable if they were even sent), nor the refund as offered. Brendan is dodgy! Steer clear of this business. I can't see how he stays in business with this kind of customer service.....then again, maybe that explains why no product and no refund hence my comment. If I could give zero stars I would.7 Oct 2022I wished I had read these reviews before placing an order for a birthday present. I have been waiting 2 weeks for my order to come from interstate.I have received one email response to my numerous emails with an apology for the delay and that I should receive it by a certain date, yet that too has passed. I have called the mobile number for the company several times and left messages. Yesterday I actually spoke to Brendan who seemed surprised" I hadn't received the order and asked me to text him the order number for him to follow up. I did what he asked and several hours later had still not heard anything back so I texted him asking for the tracking/consignment number so I could chase it up. I called again this morning and left another message. Brendan just returned my call and said that the he has a satchel number but it hasn't been scanned in by Australia Post (??). He has offered me a refund.The communication with this company and the owner is one of the poorest I have ever experienced. It is extremely unprofessional which is disappointing as I would have placed future orders."

Bought the Black Himalyan Salt and the Smokey one... sooo sooo good and the owner is exceptionally service focused. Fast delivery. I purchased several of the Smokey one as Xmas presents and everyone loves it. Also good for making margaritas.

I have ordered both salts and peppers from Baker and Baker, and I have recommended them to my friends. I love the products, and the service is awesome!! I will definitely be buying from Baker and Baker/Peppercorns in the future!

Very average experience and I will not be buying from again. I placed an order, received no confirmation or tracking number. 3 weeks later I tried to contact the company, email and phone didn’t work. Eventually found them via Facebook and asked about my package. I got a reply apologising and letting me know they will promptly send another package with something extra to say sorry for the holdup. I waited another week and received the package with nothing extra. Which is fine, but they shouldn’t have said they would do it. I waited over a month to get salts from the same state with terrible customer service. Wouldn’t even bother in future.

Stopped by on a Friday when exploring my local area.. Brendan made me the MOST delicious coffee to accompany my toasted Reuben sandwich and I loved perusing the interesting seasoning products he has for sale. The chilli salt mix is to die for!
