Scenic Rim Cat Lodge

If only I could give more stars. The nicest people you'd ever meet and was put immediately at ease by their calm and friendly manner. My cat was not overly friendly but she soon settled in well. Each cat has an outdoor area to laze around on which is so important. It's the small touches that sometime can make all the difference. The rooms are wonderful, the entire cattery is decorated so beautifully and even down to the beautiful handwriting on the doors with each cats name. Such a beautiful touch and makes it feel like each cat is special. I would not go anywhere else now. Can't thank you enough.

I have been privileged to be able to use the services of the above Cat Lodge for the last ten years. It is a two hour round trip from our house in Brisbane but I would never leave my cat anywhere else. The premises are spotless and the individual units are well furnished for their guests. As you can see my well loved cat is very relaxed on his bed in his unit.

100% recommend Scenic Rim Cat Lodge!! We left our kitten here while we went on holiday for the first time so I was extra nervous about it, but upon arriving to the lodge my worries were soothed. The conditions are A+ and Alexandra was a pleasure to talk to. We also got an update with photos of how our kitty was doing mid trip! Freya came home calm & cuddly despite it being her first time away from home.We live about 50km from the lodge but it’s worth it for the peace of mind & we would definitely book a stay for her there again.

Misha stayed with Scenic Rim Cat Lodge for 12 days. He was hesitate at first as this was his first time in boarding but soon became comfortable. Alexandra and Scott were great. Photo's were sent with an update on his stay. Beautiful surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The attention to detail at the lodge is very impressive, the property is immaculate and the communication is 10/10! We were even sent photos during there stay which was so thoughtful. We would highly recommend Scenic Rim Cat Lodge to everyone.

Cannot recommend high enough! We recently brought our cat here for 2 weeks while we went on holidays. She is usually very unsettled and takes a few days to be comfortable back home but after being at the Scenic Rim Cat Lodge coming home was like she never left...we have found a 2nd home for her.Her coat was beautiful and shiny, very happy and full of love returning home.Thank you for looking after our cat so well, we no longer dread going away and leaving her now she has somewhere she loves to go!

Everything you have read before this review covers off anything we could add. If you're going away and don't have your fur baby stay with them you are making a BIG mistake in my estimation. Scott and Alex are wonderful. If they know you're worried about your geriatric cat, they know exactly how to allay your fears so you can enjoy your holiday.In Winter the cattery is cosy and warm and in summer just right.With sundecks that look out onto a beautiful open garden & wallabies etc the cats are entertained. Another blessing, no dogs.Even I would love to stay there!

After 2 years of trying to get over the border to see family and friends I FINALLY made it and left my beautiful Helsa at the Scenic Rim Cat Lodge forc6 days. Helsa turns 15 next month and has been rather clingy, so I was a little nervous.There was no need to be as Scott and Alexandra allay all your fears with their friendly and obvious love of cats.Being rural, I suggested to Helsa that she may see a roo and unbelievably a wallaby turned up to greet us.The cattery is air-conditioned and CLEAN! Not a whiff to stir the air or frazzle the nose of a cat. The kitty litter is on the ground floor and they climb 3 shelves" up to the boudoir and the outdoor balcony complete with deck chair.The cost is also very reasonable and Scenic Rim Cat Lodge is really worth the drive. Perfect place to leave you Cat on a holiday as it is easy to get to the Pacific Hwy or cross country to the New England Highway.Looking forward to meeting Scott and Alexandra again in September."
