Great meal, taro latte and salmon Japanese bowl. A great filling and tasty meal. Service is lovely and polite. Hope the construction outside clears up for this little cafe!

The staff were friendly but the atmosphere was lacking. It waa cold and the tables were dirty. The food was average. The coffee was good but my orange juice ($8) had a huge block of ice (50% of the glass) in it.

Very aesthetic cafe. Food is beautifully presented and there is so much thought put into the flavours. Service was fast and attentive. Only downside is the location - there was very noisy construction going on in the street and it's tucked into a residential area. But once that clears up it would make the atmosphere nicer.

having gone through over 300 good reviews on this little cafe, decided to try it out for brunch on a cold Sunday morning. It looks very nice little place with new interior design. However it was a really disappointing experience. I don't usually leave reviews but I feel like those reviews are rather misleading.I had soy latte and Moroccan Shakshuka. A bit too milky for the coffee, but at least it is very hot (which is a plus). For Moroccan Shakshuka (basically Turkish baked egg), it arrived in a tomato soup (supposedly sticky, not soup), and poach eggs (two) are nearly hard boiled, feel like the eggs were cooked previously then blended in with the tomato soup" on top. And there is no much taste in the "tomato soup" other than tomato.I looked at other's experiences all seem very positive. But I personally will never come back."

Despite a relatively small menu, what they do do, they do very well!!A cafe that sits about 20 inside, 8 outside, everyone gets a window seat to what’s going on around them. Unfortunately our view was a construction site but, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.We had the Wife burger and the wife breakfast.Great flavours within the food and great coffee, matcha and the likes.We will definitely be coming back.

Stopped in to get a light breakfast and found a lovely little cafe. Oatmeal was expertly prepared piping hot with a smooth texture and subtle vanilla flavour. Red velvet latte was a new experience, gently pink and very lightly flavoured of strawberry, a sweet treat that looks simply beautiful

Aussie-Turkish-Japanese influenced dishes. Good coffee. Come here for an innovative twist on the standard in busy Box Hill. See notes on what to order.We liked the poached eggs with the panko fried eggplant. It came with Turkish sausage, but we replaced it with enoki mushrooms.The shakshuka however was unpleasantly sweet. The sauce was the culprit.Both dishes were accompanied by delicious toasted Turkish bread - texturally soft, pillowy layered and perfectly toasted.

Beautiful interior, lovely presentation and good food! The portions were a little small though, especially for the Real Wife’s Breakfast. Delicious but could use a little more! The drinks were great—will definitely come back!
