We did glamping and assumed at $270 per night we would be taken care of. No. As another has reported, there was no shelter outside the tent so when it rained you could not sit around a fire pit. I did not receive calls back when I requested a fire pit. No fire wood supplied. Inadequate bedding so cold at night. No sheltered entrance to tent so mud up to your entrance. Toilets were totally inadequate. Not serviced and dirty. No sanitary bins and no soap! Management have a very low care factor! We left a day earlier and when we checked out they did not even ask why. Literally no care. Very sad as this lets down other businesses in the town which do care but will not get repeat business from us as we won’t be back to this camp site.

Would not recommend, we pulled into the Ground next to the park as quiet as we could yes was 11pm at night. All we wanted to do was roll our swag out and sleep as we had an early morning ahead. The caravan park own came over asking if we had a booking (we didn't as it's a common ground, as told by a local) to further tell us to move on.. Will not recommend Forest or the Caravan park to any one. Cheers for a long tired night.

Had a great time here it's no frills but everything you want the park manager is great and it's a great launchpad for the Otways. It is basic and you will have to take care of yourself. There is a nice pub right across the road and an adorable dog hanging around if you are lucky he will let you pay him. The toilet is cleaner then most and the kitchen is passable I will come back.

Do not go glamping here.We paid $200 a night (and I was so excited) for what we thought would be a lovely peaceful experience with everything provided. On the booking it states you receive firewood, ice for cooler, and a fan for the tent. We received none of these items. You are amongst ALL the other patrons in the camp ground (who are paying around $40). There is NO privacy and it's very noisy and smokey. The facilities are basic at best, toilets and showers aren't cleaned daily. We raised our concerns with the park and heard nothing back what so ever. Please don't make the mistake I did, don't spend your money here.

Had a fabulous stay here in the yurt at Forrest Holiday Park. We came during the winter so we were the only people in the entire park. There is a light for the yurt and a usb charger as well. Showers have hot water, water is potable and kitchen is clean and has everything you need as well! If you go in the winter, be sure to bring your own food as nothing in town is open.

I stayed here during my time completing the Great Ocean Road.I loved camping at this facility. The staff were really friendly. They had great facilities including showers, basins and taps with drinking water. The location was absolutely stunning and well maintained. There is a lovely little store walking distance from the site which has excellent coffee too.

Forrest is a lovely little town, the campsite is well located. It's a shame there isn't more support to get the camping up to scratch. The facilities are very basic which is fine, but unfortunately not kept very clean. Public toilets along busy areas of the great ocean road were better kept. We felt that two showers for a full camp site was also not adequate, although I appreciate it was a busy weekend. Overall, not worth $53/night but we booked last minute over a public holiday and were grateful for a lovely getaway in a beautiful area.
