Lester & Son Funeral Directors Wodonga

I attended the funeral for my old friend Joan today, I have lived in Wodonga my whole life. I feel Joan deserved better, it might be a new chapel but as far as funerals go it was right at the bottom of my list, maybe Im to fussy Im not sure, but the owner didnt behave much like he cared at all. To rub insult into the wound Joan was placed into an old white hearse that looked like it had had better days. Then when we got to the cemetery we went past another funeral I would have thought the time would have been better if Joans funeral was later. The thing I noticed at the cemetery was looking over at the beautiful late model hearse of another funeral director, Radcliffe Funeral Directors. At Joans grave there was virtually nothing, no shelter tent, only 4 chairs that looked like from a camping store, looking over at the Radcliffes they had 2 shelter tents so many chairs, umbrellas. Lesters might have a new chapel but thats about it. When my time comes I will make sure its Radcliffes.

My daughter's service was yesterday and I highly recommend them. They were caring and professional and service was excellent.Thank you.

We've had a tough christmas for our family. But Lester and Son have put 110% of their time into preparing our service for our mother even with the minimal time they were given. A huge thank you from all of our family. HIGHLY recommended for anyone needing their service.

It's been a years since my Dad's passing.I will be forever grateful how,helpful and made this very painful time easier. .

Absolutely disgusting. The lack of communication skills, active listening skills and compassion was shocking. Addressed my sister by my late mothers name, treated our family like it was a business transaction. The whole ordeal felt transactional. This isn’t the response I had hoped in such stressful time. Nothing positive to say about the experience I had with the company.

I wish to thank Lester & Son for the way they helped me plan my mothers funeral in May 2017. At such a difficult time they were amazing, guiding me through the many things that were needed to be done at that difficult time. Great staff, facilities and service, I would recommend Lester & Son to anyone in the region looking to hold a meaningful funeral service.
