Sapphire City Caravan Park

We are travelling as a family with 3 young children. I called mid afternoon to ask if there were any powered caravan sites available for that night, and was able to book and pay over the phone. We arrived quite late, but the pre-arranged late arrival was a smooth and easy process. The bathrooms were in excellent condition, and a very good size for a family getting all their kids clean at the same time. It is a beautiful spot, and I wish we had time to spend a couple more nights!

Best Caravan Park In NSW by far. Stayed for 3 weeks. Everything was perfect. Great Pool, Camp kitchen and BBQ facilities. Excellent friendly mangement at all times. Very Clean Fresh toilets and showers, with pin code access. Nice grassy area to camp, with good powered sites and great rates. Plan to stay longer, as its a good place to base yourself, and do trips around the area to see the sights. All our friends stay here, so should you.

Would have to be the best caravan park I have ever stayed in. Park is well maintained, management are amazing friendly and helpful with good conversation. Pool is clean and inviting, camp kitchen looks great, variety of campsites powered and unpowered all grassed, with great views of surrounding countryside, sites are shady at certain times of the day. I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin great value for money as I have paid the same or more for single room cabins or studio cabins at other caravan parks. Cabin has 3 aircons full sized fridge, double element electric stove top, microwave and good sized tv. Couch is comfy dining inside, outside on the porch or at the breakfast bar. The management even have a bulldog that duck dives for rocks in the dam and carries them to dam edge which is quite entertaining to watch on a warm afternoon. Can only give 5 stars but would give 10 stars if I could. Fabulous quiet well run park!!

Extremely clean facilities! The park is very small so you park right next to people, but it’s perfect for a night stop over on the way to your next destination. Nice sunset views as well.

Made email contact to book for a week and also asked about a longer booking. Was refused because I am a travelling tradesman and not on holiday….ummmm WHAT? Apparently having a small van on an unpowered site for longer than a few days interrupts maintenance??? A very strange reason to deny a booking I had thought. I replied to explain that I’m not a local resident but am in fact on a working holiday lap of the country. This has so far been ignored.My 1 star rating is for the management and not the park or facilities.**edit**. I had asked if they had a weekly rate as I expect I may have work continuing for a little over 7 days. I also asked if there was a monthly rate on the off chance work continued a little longer. In seeing the reply from management I suppose it is outside all possibilities to suggest relocating from one site to another over the course of a longer term stay to protect grass and of course accommodate the needs of a guest. It’s also outside all possibilities to reply to a follow up email.

Lovely quiet van and mobile home park, just out of town but great value for money.Wouldn't hesitate coming back.

Park is in quiet location, spotless and well maintained with all you could need for a comfortable stay. I would book here again in a heartbeat.Wonderful hosts allowing me to leave my car (undercover and free of charge) onsite whilst we went on a impromptu, adventure for a few days.Many thanks to David and Rachel for accommodating our requests and being part of a very memorable time away.
